I'm reluctant to write this review, because this is a property I'd like to return to, and I would prefer that it was not well known. However, that's unfair to Barbara (a really helpful and kind host), so here goes.The property itself is reached by a set of steps, so only suitable for people who are OK with going up and down such. Inside, it is basic, but clean. The lounge/kitchen has a fridge/freezer, a microwave, an oven and a hob, plus a kettle, toaster and coffee-maker. The lounge has a settee and a coffee table. There is a round dining table, big enough for four.The bedroom has a double bed, a wardrobe, a couple of chairs and side-tables, each with a lamp (these extend upwards--extremely useful for reading in bed).The shower room has a really nice shower, a toilet, and a sink. The windows all have mosquito shields; a very useful feature in this part of Portugal.It has both a garden area and a separate rooftop veranda, both of which were very pleasant places to while away hours...and hours. Perfect for a couple. We stayed for two weeks, in August. AirCon would have been nice, but at this price, not a realistic expectation. A fan is provided, and worked well to keep air moving at night.For the price, this is a really nice apartment. But even leaving price aside, it is a pleasant, comfortable place to stay. Especially (but not only) if you are a couple who spend most of their days on the beach, and primarily eat at restaurants at night. Highly recommended.
