From the main entrance, turn right into a spacious living room with an open fireplace and a TV area; pass through a round archway into the brick-walled, well-equipped kitchen, which offers direct access to the garden, featuring a very romantic seating area under a large holm oak. From the kitchen, turn right into the charming bathroom with a corner bathtub, or go straight ahead into the bedroom with a double bed; from there, you’ll find the small children’s room with two single beds. This apartment, like all the others, is partly furnished with antiques; and we place great emphasis on comfort, but we also want you to feel at home… even when it comes to the beds, we have a motto: antique beds—yes; antique mattresses—no, thank you!… because on vacation, you should live and sleep at least as well as you do at home—if not even better!
Surrounded by a well-maintained park (approx. 5,000 square meters) with mature trees, which in turn is framed by a 50,000-square-meter olive grove, this picturesque, fully restored 19th-century stone house is situated, housing three charming vacation apartments (Primo, Secondo, and Terzo) and, a short distance from the main house, two quaint standalone cottages: the Etrusco and the Casetta Olivera. All apartments have separate entrances and direct access from the living area to the romantic garden, as well as their own outdoor seating area, patio furniture, and lounge chairs, along with window screens and fans. Of course, there’s also an oval pool measuring 10 x 5 m, surrounded by a Mediterranean palm garden. A shaded sand playground with climbing structures and swings is available. Other highlights: satellite TV, Wi-Fi, shared washing machine, organic olive oil and wine (from our own production), bread roll delivery service, fenced-in, lockable pool, a Christmas tree is provided in winter, and dogs are welcome!
Culture: For art and culture enthusiasts, there is so much to see that one vacation certainly isn’t enough to take it all in. Since we’re right in the heart of ancient Etruscan culture, archaeological sites and ancient ruins are just a short distance away—for example, Vetulonia, Populonia, Roselle, Vulci, Tarquinia, and more. Of course, we mustn’t forget the dream destinations of Massa Marittima, Siena, Florence, and their museums. You can even visit the magnificent city of Rome on a day trip from here. Those who prefer sports and recreational activities will certainly find plenty to enjoy here as well. In just 15–20 minutes, you’ll be right on our beautiful coast, with kilometers of wide sandy beaches—like those in Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala—romantic coves, picturesque little coastal towns, a wide range of sports activities, and a lively nightlife. And for those who want to dine like “a king in Italy” and sample our excellent wine, you’ll find everything here—from small trattorias to gourmet temples—to make any foodie’s heart beat faster!
