Hello, the room itself was very nice and the location was good but we had several issues. 1. We did not receive check-in information from the host. We had to message the host 4 hours after check in time passed and request information on how to access the location. 2. Upon arriving, there were multiple signs on the front of the building from the city of Austin saying that the building was out of code and unsafe for occupancy. We talked with the host after expressing concern but it was very alarming to see this. This should have been disclosed to us prior to arriving. 3. Inside of the apartment at night, the lights would automatically turn on while we were sleeping every 45-60 minutes. This happened every night except for 1, despite us turning the lights off repeatedly, they would turn back on. The host came to the house at one point and turned the lights off, they still automatically turned on in the middle. of the night multiple nights. It was very hard for the week to not be able to sleep for more than 45-60 minutes at a time. 4. Inside of the room there are 3 extremely bright Exit Signs that are very bright while sleeping. 5. We had communicated with the host during the week about these issues and after 3 days the host stopped talking with us. We were unable to reach the host and they were unresponsive about our issues. Again, the room was nice and the location was good but these details made it very hard to have a good experience and this stay was not worth it.
