NEW LISTING! Located in beautiful Waushara County, our charming crimson cottage is nestled in between towering white pines overlooking crystal clear Long Lake. Our bay is no wake, which offers peace and solitude and some of the best fishing habitat on the lake. Long Lake is a pristine, full-rec lake located 9 miles south of Waupaca in Waushara County, Wisconsin (please note: this is not part of the Chain of Lakes). The lake is 254 acres in size with a maximum depth of 71 feet. It offers a vast variety of fish...including Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Walleye and Northern Pike. It's also great for almost every type of water recreation, including jet skiing, water skiing, kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding. While we have beautiful lake frontage, we do not have a sandy beach. There is however, the perfect sandy swimming spot within our bay just a short paddle or boat ride away. There is a 22-foot pontoon boat on site available to rent (May-Sept). We also have 2 kayaks (1-double and 1 single), a canoe and a paddle board for your use, which are included in your stay.
Our NEWLY RENOVATED cozy cottage offers Mid-Century charm and is perfect for a romantic couples getaway. It features 2 bedrooms, a full-size bathroom, full kitchen with all of the amenities, free Wi-Fi and a Smart TV. We also have a wide array of DVDs, books and games for your enjoyment during your stay. We offer all of the amenities of home to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. The large wraparound deck is a great place to enjoy the lake view with your morning coffee, to relax in the shade of the towering pines with a book or to grill out as the sun sets over the bay. Our dock is the best spot to soak up some vitamin D or to do some fishing from shore. To end each day, you can relax in the Adirondack chairs by our lakefront firepit and enjoy an evening of stargazing. If you're lucky, you may even see some Northern lights or hear the musical sounds of the resident Loons. This is truly a magical place that we love to share with others.
