Herding Vacation Apartment - 4-bed vacation apartment with shower/toilet, 2 bedrooms

The Herding vacation rental, part of a vacation home, is located in the tranquil village of Loogh in the heart of the Vulkaneifel, near the Eifelsteig trail. The vacation apartment was recently partially renovated and furnished with great care.
A separate entrance leads through the hallway into a modern, country-style kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes, etc.). From there, you enter the cozy living room, where 1 sofa and 2 armchairs invite you to relax in front of the fireplace. The adjoining sunroom houses the dining room with a large table that easily seats 6 people.
The modern bathroom, equipped with underfloor heating, is accessible from the hallway. It features a large, walk-in shower with a seat. Opposite the bathroom are two small bedrooms, renovated in 2025. They accommodate a 2x2m bed (Bedroom 1) and a 2x1.4m bed (Bedroom 2), respectively. Bedroom 2 also features a dresser and hanging space. The bedrooms are separated only by a door, and Bedroom 1 serves as a walk-through to Bedroom 2. For this reason, we recommend our vacation rental primarily for families or groups who know each other very well. 

The large outdoor area features a terrace with seating, a spacious, wild and romantic garden, and two natural ponds. One of these two natural ponds can also be used as a swimming pond. Both ponds are freely accessible and unfenced—this should be taken into account when booking with small children.
The vacation rental is located in a small village, and the garden is frequently visited by cats from neighboring farms (please be aware of the risk of allergies).

The recently renovated bathroom is accessible from the hallway. It features a large, walk-in shower with seating. Opposite the bathroom are the small but bright and modern bedrooms. They offer enough space for a 2x2m bed (Bedroom 1) or a 2x1.4m bed (Bedroom 2), as well as a closet.
The wild and romantic garden with a natural pond is the perfect place to unwind.



On-site costs: Includes bed linens, towels, utilities, and final cleaning. One dog may accompany you for an additional fee of 10 EUR per day. The dog must be booked at the time of reservation. If this is not possible online, please note this when booking, and the amount must be transferred along with the remaining balance of the booking price. The Herding vacation rental can be booked for a minimum of 7 nights. Payment is due in advance. A 30% deposit is due immediately upon booking, and the remaining 70% is due no later than 4 weeks before the start of your stay. If there are fewer than 4 weeks between the booking and the start of your stay, the full amount (100%) must be paid immediately.Note on the guest tax: To promote regional tourism, overnight guests staying at lodging facilities in the Gerolstein Municipal Association have been required to pay a guest tax of 0.75 euros per person per night since 01.01.2024. Children aged 0–5 and business and educational travelers are exempt from this fee. The guest tax is not included in the booking price; it is charged separately by the accommodation provider and forwarded to the Gerolstein Municipal Association. Check-in is available from 4:00 p.m. to midnight, and check-out is from midnight to 10:00 a.m.
