Great place to stay! The bedrooms are spacious and the master bedroom shower is amazing! We highly recommend this property.

We had a very nice stay. The A/C was not working when we arrived but when we notified them they were very quick to respond and have it fixed!! Bath towels could be upgraded!

Overall pretty good experience here. The house is tucked back off the road and gives a private feel. It’s a renovated older home so there’s quirks. The bathrooms are where the renovations really shine but the rest of the home definitely has an older feel to it. The hosts were absolutely lovely and communicative.

We spent two nights here and we had a lovely time! The house was very clean and inviting. The location to Carowinds was perfect and also close to other amenities like Publix, restaurants and Dunkin ;) Would definitely recommend!

The bathrooms are extremely nice! The beds are so comfy ! The kitchen is really nice as well . All the little extras made it even better!

I am conflicted about my okay rating as my family loved the spaciousness of the ranch, its location and the graciousness of our hosts. This VRBO has great potential but has some maintenance issues and could use some TLC. The AC wasn't working until the day we left so all linens were damp from the humidity and doors to bedrooms and master bath would not close. I had to purchase dish towels and washcloths as well as some better quality bath towels. The family gathering porch that first caught my attention was inaccessible and trampoline was torn. On the 2nd day the washer broke and was still not replaced before we left. A big safety concern of mine was the broken knobs on the gas stove and the lack of smoke detectors and CO2 monitors. The house could also use another TV a place to hang towels in the Master bath and a pancake turner in the kitchenHaving said all this the check in was easy-peasy and the hosts attempted to address each concern promptly. Having 2 living room areas was such a pleasant experience for our large family with older teens. The bathrooms were gorgeous and all the fixtures were like new. The beds were really comfortable and there were ceiling fans in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. Our hosts also supplied us with window fans while trying to fix the AC. The Roku TV and internet reception were great and there were NO BUGS which is always a concern during warm weather in the South.I would absolutely rent from these hosts the next time we visit Charlotte.

First look, the house was good walking in. Biggest concern for us was safety. There’s one smoke alarm for the entire house, which is below minimum requirements by law. The gas stove only has 1 working knob, others are cracked or broken leading to more safety concerns; used the one working knob for the entire stove. The host claims the smoke alarm is also a carbon monoxide alarm, but it’s far from the kitchen and on the ceiling, other one was found but was unplugged. Fire extinguisher is out of reach stored above the oven.The weather strip for the front door kept detaching leaving a 1” gap for air and critters to come in the house. The ‘pack n play’ listed is actually a bassinet, so it would not fit your toddler. Additionally, the zipper was broken. The play area in the back had overgrown greenery; Covered in spiderwebs and I had to brake branches for use. Not well maintained as the pictures portray. The back patio access from the house is through the garage, the garage is full of supplies and junk making it seem like it’s not part of the listing and shouldn’t use that access.Overall, it looks nice when you first walk in, but looking further you see the little things that add up. Cleanliness was good for the most part, no dishwasher soap even though the check out requires use of the dishwasher for dirty dishes. I notified host, but no mention of them supplying it or that we had to bring it. Overall, it did its job but not to my expected standards. Safety needs addressed!

The house was very clean, the ice maker in the new fridge works great, the kitchen has a lot of counter space for food prep and serving. We enjoyed the bathroom upgrades. Having two dining tables was a plus. The wood floors and colorful rugs were a cozy touch. Lots of DVDs were provided although we didn't have any time to watch them.The host responded quickly to any questions or requests. The location was great (to grocery store, restaurants, etc.). Wish we could stay again for Thanksgiving, but it's already booked!
