The open-concept kitchen, which opens onto the living room, is equipped with a ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, as well as dishes and kitchen utensils. The bathroom features a shower and toilet; a washing machine for guests’ use is also available. Wi-Fi, a TV, and a stereo system provide entertainment, while heating ensures comfort year-round. This non-smoking accommodation welcomes families and offers private parking. In Groß Zicker, you’ll enjoy a rural, village-like setting: the sea is about 100 meters away, shopping is about 100 meters away, and restaurants are about 200 meters away. A sandy beach is approximately two kilometers away. Activities such as walking, biking, hiking, swimming, and water sports offer variety; public transportation is about 500 meters away. Groß Zicker lies north of the Zickersche Berge and is surrounded by fragrant herb meadows. From spring through late fall, you can watch the flocks of sheep in the meadows and feel free to look over the shepherds’ shoulders. The small village itself attracts visitors every year. In addition to the Gothic church and the parish widow’s house, built around 1720, the farm gardens are also a popular photo spot.

Why not explore the neighboring towns of Gager, Thiessow, and Klein Zicker by bike or go on a long hike? Well-maintained bike and hiking trails make this possible. Just 2 kilometers from Groß Zicker lies the unspoiled, fine-sand Baltic Sea beach. The beach stretches for nearly 8 kilometers from Göhren to Thiessow. From May through October, the Rügen Market welcomes you every Tuesday and Thursday in Thiessow. Here you can purchase regional products and are sure to find a lovely souvenir.

A few kilometers to the north lies the Baltic Sea resort of Göhren. Here, in addition to numerous shopping opportunities and restaurants, you’ll find the famous Amber Promenade, which runs along the fine sandy beach toward Baabe and Sellin and is perfect for wonderful walks.
