Amenities of the Ground Floor Vacation Rental "Solamar Rügen"

The ground-floor vacation rental measures 61 m² and can accommodate up to five people. Two dogs are welcome in this vacation rental, and a third dog may also stay upon request.

The bright living-dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows has everything you could want for your vacation. In addition to comfortable living room furniture and the dining table, you’ll find the open, fully equipped kitchen—which was renovated in 2022. The patio door leads to the dog-proof, fenced-in garden, which is not visible from the street. The sunny, south-facing garden is available for your exclusive use. The windows and patio door in the living-dining area were replaced in November 2022 and now offer excellent thermal insulation thanks to triple-pane glazing. An insect screen swing door was installed in the patio door. Interior roller shades protect against direct sunlight in the summer.

The beds in the two separate bedrooms ensure the best sleeping comfort; the windows in each bedroom are equipped with insect screens. One bedroom features a double bed (with new Emma One spring mattresses, March 2023); the other bedroom features a family bunk bed (1.40 m on the bottom and 0.90 m on the top) suitable for three people and is equipped with an additional 32" TV. The interior bathroom, which was completely renovated in 2018, features a shower and a washing machine.

The garden is fully enclosed by a 1.60 m high double-bar fence that extends to the ground and has no gaps. You can use the Wi-Fi internet connection (50 Mbit/s) free of charge. A designated parking space for your car and storage for your bicycles are available at the "Solamar Rügen" vacation home, as well as a wallbox. The 11 kW wallbox is available for a small fee. You must bring your own Type 2 charging cable.

The "Solamar Rügen" vacation home is located in a traffic-calmed zone on the edge of the residential area in Breege. The house features two tastefully furnished vacation apartments that are perfectly equipped for a vacation on Rügen. The Baltic Sea resort of Breege, along with its neighborhood Juliusruh, is situated on the Schaabe Spit on the Wittow Peninsula, which is connected to the Jasmund Peninsula to the southeast.
The Schaabe is a sand spit approximately 12 kilometers long and promises a true paradise for swimming and beachgoers! The fine-sand beach and the blue waters of the Baltic Sea are equally popular with all Rügen vacationers and locals alike. It’s not just during the summer and swimming months that there’s a lively atmosphere here—the Baltic Sea also has its charm during the winter months. When the wind blows from the east and washes up flotsam, with a little luck and a lot of patience, you can find the "gold of the Baltic Sea"—a popular vacation souvenir: amber. But you can also discover sea urchins, fossilized sea urchins, and shells during long walks along the beach. If you return from the beach feeling hungry, you’ll find several restaurants and eateries in town that serve freshly caught Baltic Sea fish. And if you’re just looking for a quick snack, you’re sure to find a fresh and delicious fish sandwich.
The harbor is located 800 meters from the vacation home. From here, you can take a boat to Ralswiek for the Störtebeker Festival or to Hiddensee.
For active travelers, the Nordstrand beach—just 8 kilometers away—is highly recommended. Here, the Baltic Sea is rougher and perfect for surfing and kitesurfing. A short walk from here takes you to Cape Arkona, with its magnificent chalk cliffs, the beautiful fishing village of Vitt, and the unique lighthouses.
