It is situated on the Beltringharder Koog, which was only diked in 1987 and is now Schleswig-Holstein’s largest onshore nature reserve. Thousands of geese, ducks, and other birds gather here—a true spectacle of nature in every season! It’s just 3 km to the nearest swimming spot on the green outer dike, home to the friendly dike-side restaurant “fisk.ahoi.” A delicious fish sandwich is always a good choice. <br><br>The charming surrounding area is perfect for exploring by bike. The network of bike paths is excellent. Right on your doorstep are the North Frisian islands and Halligen, which can be explored by boat and, in some cases, via (guided) mudflat hikes. Husum, “the gray city by the sea” as described by Theodor Storm, Schleswig, Flensburg, the Kingdom of Denmark, and many other worthwhile destinations are easily accessible.<br><br><br> Amenities This 100-square-meter non-smoking vacation home offers a spacious, light-filled living-dining area with a large TV and stereo system. Enjoy an exciting book in front of the crackling wood-burning stove.<br><br>The open-concept kitchen is fully equipped with a stove (ceramic cooktop), oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator—perfect for a relaxing vacation. A separate utility room features a washing machine and a freezer, as well as a separate restroom. The tiled portion of the living-dining area is heated by underfloor heating.<br>A beautiful wooden staircase leads to the two bedrooms, each with a double bed (180 x 200).
