Bright 100 m² apartment with a fantastic view of Delft and a rooftop terrace in downtown Emden
Discover the city on foot
2 bedrooms – up to 4 guests – small dogs allowed - Parking - Wi-Fi
From (almost) every window and from the rooftop terrace, you can enjoy the fantastic view of the Delft all day long—the largest body of water in downtown Emden—and watch the often bustling activity on the water and on land. On the other side of the Delft, you’ll see the marina with its motor yachts, sailboats, and the occasional historic ship. The backdrop is a mix of the exclusive new Delft homes and historic buildings.
The house is located between the Hotel am Delft and the Hafentor, right on the Delft.
All shops, restaurants, and attractions are within a 1,000-meter radius and easily accessible on foot.
The apartment features a large, bright dining and living room.
If the weather happens to be less than ideal, you can always spend the evening here watching a good movie. You can easily connect the large LG Smart TV to your own streaming services.
There’s direct access from the living room to the rooftop terrace—perfect for morning coffee, a midday break on a lounge chair, or long evenings under the starry sky with the illuminated Delft river as a backdrop.
The kitchen connects all the rooms and is equipped with everything you need for relaxed home cooking (dishwasher, glass-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator)
In the room next to the bathroom, there is also a large freezer for storing groceries.
The two bedrooms, both with blackout curtains—one with a box-top bed and the other with two single beds—also open directly onto the Delft, so very little noise from the street on the other side of the house can be heard.
A few steps lead up to the rooftop terrace, which is furnished with a table, four chairs, and a lounge chair.
The bathroom is equipped with two sinks, a shower stall, and a separate toilet. It also houses the washing machine and a freezer; please note: the refrigerator in the kitchen does not have a separate freezer compartment.
Your car has its own marked parking space in a walled-in area right next to the house; bicycles can also be parked here out of public view. However, the parking area is not lockable, and you are in the city center!
You’ll hardly notice any street traffic from inside the apartment. Of course, the Hotel am Delft has a restaurant (Casto’s), which also offers outdoor seating during the summer months. In 2025, a new outdoor exhaust hood was installed there—unfortunately, it’s a bit noisy. Next to the Hafentor is the Delftstrand, which is truly beautiful when the weather is nice.
While the short distances are convenient, this can mean—for you as well as for the hotel guests—that it isn’t always quiet in the evenings when the weather is nice.
