The Space:

*PLEASE NOTE: SunDestin Beach Resort is undergoing an extensive property modernization project beginning September of 2024. Construction will occur from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, including weekends if required. Guest will most likely experience construction noise during these times and other inconveniences. Please be advised that our outdoor amenities will be closed until early Summer of 2025:

-Outdoor Hot Tub

-Splash Pad

The grill and smoking areas will be relocated during the renovation. The indoor pool and gym are available during their regular operating hours.

This timeframe coincides with the first two phases of our property renovation, and all dates are subject to change due to weather, labor, or supply chain issues. We apologize for any disruption and appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance our resort for your future enjoyment. Renovations will continue throughout 2025 and into Spring of 2026.



Your troubles will feel miles away in this high-rise condo located in Sundestin Beach Resort. This colorful home is the perfect place to re-group after a long day at the beach, featuring comfortable furnishings and a fully-equipped kitchen. Free WiFi and a private balcony are the cherries on top of this ideal Destin vacation home.

The ocean is just steps away, where you'll find miles of gorgeous beaches. Want to test your surfing skills out before hitting the sea? Head over to Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park first. You'll also find great local restaurants, such as Boshamps Seafood & Oyster House, and you can shop until your heart's content at Destin Commons. SunDestin is a Gulf-front resort located less than two miles from the heart of town offering fantastic amenities including two heated pools, a children's splash pad, hot tub, gym, and more.

Old decor, old furniture. No running water for 20 hours. Elevators broken down even longer. Unfortunately not a good experience for us. No cable tv in living room. Good thing I had streaming service to cast to tv.

Unfortunately this property is run down. The management was responsive and did come clean the furniture but the owner has not wanted to update at all. The stove drawer was broken, both vanities have water damage which makes it feel very unclean. The tub surround is either dirty or missing grout. I relied on the previous reviews that said excellent I guess we are not those people. However, we did enjoy the balcony and being able to walk out to the beach. Spending 60/day for 2 chairs and an umbrella is crazy. BTW you can’t bring your own chairs and umbrella.

This condo was gross. There was an awful smell (like mold mildew, wet dog smell). There was black mold in the cabinets and on the shower curtain and walls. The carpet was stained, furniture was worn down, stained, and so uncomfortable. The one toilet splashed every flush. We had to put the lid down to keep from getting toilet water on us and the lid was soaked everytime. Just nasty. I reached out to them about how bad it was the first night, they didn’t get back to me until the middle of the next day and said they could move us to a different unit but it wouldn’t be ocean front, my dad is very sick so ocean front was all he could do to be close to the beach except for 20-30 mins a day he could make it to the beach. Then they said they would refund for the terrible conditions and I still haven’t received that refund. I hope they refund a large portion of the stay because it was terrible. I also had to go buy carpet freshener, air freshener and cleaning supplies just to be able to stand to be in there. I am not normally a complainer either, it was just so bad.

Renter beware--property DID NOT look as pictured. Entire thing looked old and never updated. Let's start with the flooring: carpet was so old, had mysterious stains everywhere, and was CRUNCHY underfoot. It needs to be replaced and at the least, a thorough steam cleaning. Tile-old, looked surface clean until you looked around the baseboards and door jams where it met carpet. So much dirt built up. Soft furniture surfaces: also stains all over them--I did NOT sit on them at all. Only felt safe sitting on balcony and in the hard surface chairs at the dining table. Bedroom: mattress/bed was so "creaky and squeaky". Every turn in bed was LOUD. The drain in tub drained so slowly, that I would imagine there is copious hair clog lying within.Toilet in main bathroom-flushed so hard that water sprayed out at your face when flushing. Toilet in second smaller bathroom would run LOUDLY during the night.The tub faucet was coming loose from the wall. Tile in shower had mold. Recommend Zep mold and mildew grout cleaner. Shower curtain had black mold all along the bottom. It was a basic plastic shower curtain. Costs less than 10 dollars to replace. Water pressure was mediocre.Temperatures was fine. Cabinetry in both bathrooms had black mold on the sides nearest rolling.llled like both cabinets had been severely wet and the MDF wood had swellled and mold began. Paint in large quantities was peeling off both cabinets. This was awful but I sucked it up and dealt with it.

The condo was fully stocked and clean. Very comfortable and also affordable. Check in was a breeze. We were on the 17th floor and we saw the view of the beach as soon as we walked through the front door and it was breathtaking!!!!
