The Space:

South of 30A - you are roughly a half mile from the beach with no need to cross the highway! Make use of the four provided bikes and cruise to the beach or along the Timpoochee Trail to Seaside or the Hub. (Pro tip: parking a bike in Seaside is much easier than parking a car). If you love water sports, kayak or paddleboard on Eastern Lake (rentals available at Yellowfin Ocean Sports). Return home for a dip in the newly renovated shared pool (seasonally heated).



The gorgeous vacation home is bright, modern, and spacious and has been completely renovated with new flooring, living room furniture, kitchen cabinetry, and well-appointed beds in each room. It has also been re-insulated to help stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. Kick back and relax in the living room featuring a large TV. The well-equipped kitchen has plenty of counter space to whip up a delicious meal after a day of fun. Or, make use of the private gas grill to throw a little char on freshly caught fish. Savor appetizers at the kitchen bar, then serve memorable meals at the dining table. Step out to the balcony for an alfresco dining experience - you'll love kicking back on the balcony chairs while you savor a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail. The primary bedroom has a private balcony for morning coffee and a rejuvenating jacuzzi tub. All four bedrooms are well-appointed for your comfort. Extra perks include high-speed WiFi for remote work or online school, a washer/dryer, central air-conditioning, and a new water heater.

We stayed here from Monday through Friday with the whole family (10) and had a great time. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and the walk to the beach is not to far and safe to do with kids. There were also beach chairs and floating devices available which we did not read about in the initial information of the house. The kids loved the bunk beds and overal the beds were very decent. In short: a very nice place to stay.

Everything was wonderful, however I do have an important suggestion. The front door is very accessible to small children and our toddler easily opened the door and escaped to the point that we had to block it with a chair. A lock up higher out of reach would have been much safer. We really had a nice time and the place was comfortable and beautiful. One more thing, the trash had not been emptied though and there wasn't any hand soap or body soap in the bathrooms.

House is beautiful, and everything turned out great. The only issue was there were no window coverings over the glass doors leading out of the master bedroom onto the balcony. We had to call the property manager who stopped by with some sheets and blankets to tack up over it so we could have some privacy. I feel as though that should have been taken care of before we arrived. Otherwise, our day very good.

Stay

I would give our overall eating a 7/10. It was a great location, but the WiFi did not connect half of the time. There was also not basic items in the kitchen for cooking (spices, grilling). The area/neighborhood is cute and beds comfortable! The TV also only had around 5-6 channels and the AC upstairs is minimal compared to downstairs. It is about a half mile walk to the beach; a golf cart would have been great, but thank goodness the bikes made it easy to get to and from.

The property itself is very well stocked and decorated. Large comfy beds and plenty of space for lots of kids or teenagers in the bunk room. House is further from the beach than originally thought but doable.Our one major complaint was with the management company. We had a clogged sink in the bathroom for the entire stay for lots of girls to share. Water sat in sink for days and would not drain. We reported it from Saturday until Monday daily and no ever came to fix it. Also, one of the bikes was broken upon arrival and the ice maker was not working. Those things were easily overlooked but the sink that was filled with filth and standing water was unacceptable. I hope the owners see this and realize the management company has some serious customer service issues.

Family vacation

The neighborhood is adorable, we used the bikes everyday (had to get replacements due to flat tire and broken pedal, they were super fast to bring new bikes) the pool was the perfect size and not crowded. We had family members ranging from ages 1-87. The beach had a drop off spot that was helpful but there were not enough parking spots after the drop off. The couch could use a new cover or a good cleaning there are spots all over the front and back and the chairs are very worn. When we arrived we moved some furniture to create room for a baby bed we found garbage under the stool, and food under the single bed that pulls out. Each bedroom has a tv but the cords and extension cords were dangling down under them. The refrigerator drawers are broken which made it hard for kids to shut the door. Our favorite part of the stay was biking to the beach and restaurant/bar across the street.
