Perfect for a family stay. Easy going to and from beach plus not far from attractions. Washer and dryer need replaced but would not keep me from renting again.

The area was nice due to its proximity to the ocean . I should have looked that there wasn't any restaurants or shops within walking distance . Not Vacasas fault .

Great place to stay!

Our family of nine (grandparents, parents and children) were very comfortable in this condo. We are already talking about another visit. We had enough beds, nice kitchen to prepare our meals, WiFi for media and toys. Other pluses were that there were plenty of towels; the children had movies and we had chairs on the beach. It is a great place for families.

Excellent place. Terrific View. Would like a few amenities such as salt/sugar and condiments in the unit.

Family getaway

My family has been staying at the Islander for nearly 10 years now. Since my kids are getting older, we wanted to switch to a 3-bedroom option. This condo was beautiful, comfortable, and well-stocked. Hurricane Ida came through during our stay, so we weren't able to spend as much time at the beach and pool as we would have liked, but the condo provided a wonderful place to watch the storm. We can't wait to come back again next year!

Fall 2019

Easy check-in/check out. Quick elevators. No code to pool side bathrooms. W & D in a bedroom was a little disruptive.

Beautiful view

A great weekend getaway for our family. Plenty of room and short walk to the beach. The only real disappointment was the really nasty floors! There was sand on the floors in the bedrooms when we arrived and we all had to keep shoes on in the condo or have really nasty feet. The cleaning fee is too much for the floors to be not kept cleaner! Other than that our short stay was nice.

Great location and beach access.

We had a beautiful view of the gulf and the unit was roomy enough for 9 of us. It is lacking in utensils and dinnerware for that many people. Or stay would have been much more enjoyable if they had no been doing major construction. It was terribly loud and disruptive throughout our entire stay. Next time I book I will ask if anything is planned for the week. Life lesson learned.

It’s a place to sleep

We had six people staying. 2 adults and 4 teenagers. I loved how one Bedroom slept 3-4. We stuck all the boys in that room and my daughter had her own room and bathroom. Made the trip a lot easier. Kitchen was well stocked and had most everything you could need. Master bedroom was nice. Had really great blackout curtains which made sleeping in so nice. The headboard was so loose. If we moved in the bed at all it was banging against the wall. We had to stick towels between headboard and wall. The ceiling fan in master sounded like it was ready to take flight. Super loud and annoying and would wake me up at night. All bathroom sinks are missing the drain stop so be careful you don’t loose jewelry down them. In one bathroom the towel rack was broken and duct taped back together which was useless. The other bathroom didn’t even have one. Made it hard to let towels dry out after use. It wasn’t a horrible stay just a few miner things that could easily be fixed. We enjoyed our time in Destin and the water and beach was beautiful!!
