In our RIVER DOCKS themed apartment, you’ll experience Bremerhaven’s historic 19th-century shipbuilding tradition—all with the tasteful comfort you’ve come to expect from COAST HOUSE. The vacation apartment is located on the 5th floor (of 7) of the Tecklenborg apartment complex on the former site of the famous Tecklenborg shipyard.

Relax on the private, park-like lawn right on the banks of the Geeste—the very spot where the Tecklenborg Docks once stood, where some of the world’s most famous sailing ships and steamships were built.

The RIVER DOCKS vacation apartment offers panoramic views of the Geeste (right next to the building), the Weser River with its ocean-going vessels, and the Bremerhaven skyline from an open balcony and an additional glass-enclosed loggia.

The meticulously detailed design and furnishings of the River Docks transport you back to the era of 19th-century industrial shipbuilding, combined with modern-day comfort.

Three bedrooms offer up to 6 guests an extraordinary shipyard stay in the Seestadt.

The interior design of our RIVER DOCKS transports you to the tasteful industrial ambiance of a historic shipyard dating from 1855 to 1910—all without sacrificing the COAST HOUSE style and modern comforts.

Our themed apartment is located on the 5th floor (of 7) of the Tecklenborg House on the former grounds of the historic Tecklenborg shipyard, from which the building takes its name. From here, you can walk to downtown and the "Havenwelten", home to tourist attractions such as the Klimahaus, the Maritime Museum, the submarine, the Emigration Center, and much more.
Restaurants, bakeries, a supermarket, and more are just around the corner.

A private parking space on the property can be booked as an optional extra.

From the open balcony and the glass-enclosed lounge loggia, you’ll enjoy an unobstructed view of the Geeste right in front of the house and the Weser River with its bustling boat traffic. The rooms also offer a great view of the Geeste, the Weser, or the city. Depending on the season, the best places to admire the glowing red sunsets are the balcony, the glass-enclosed loggia, or the private park right on the banks of the Geeste.
