The Space:

You'll have an expansive balcony overlooking the white sand beach at Lighthouse 618, a gulf-front escape with truly majestic views of the Gulf of Mexico.





This is a wonderful Gulf Shores retreat, offering central air conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer to welcome you home from the beach each afternoon. Inside, you'll find a full kitchen, space to dine at both the breakfast bar and the adjacent table, and a window-lined living room with a flatscreen TV and access to the balcony. Two of the three bedrooms have gulf-front views as well.





Lighthouse comes with a host of amenities that include two zero-entry pools, a heated indoor pool, two hot tubs, a fitness center with a sauna, and 635 feet of private beach. You'll be a quarter-mile from Gulf State Park, three-quarters of a mile from the Gulf State Park Pier, and three-quarters of a mile from the Gulf Shores Parkway - the thoroughfare that's home to Waterville USA and dozens of popular restaurants, eateries, ice cream parlors, activities, and attractions.

Excellent Stay!

Would highly recommend the Lighthouse 618 for a family of 4+. Great place, excellent balcony view of the Gulf, build very nice. Centrally located, lots of things to do within walking distance.

Short trip to the beach did not disappoint! The accommodations were lovely and the frolicking dolphins seen from the balcony were amazing.

Beautiful property. Key code did not work at arrival. Had to call to get a new code at check in.

This condo is spacious and has a prime location with an amazing view and the building amenities were nice, especially the pools. It’s a corner unit with a monster balcony which was great but unfortunately the elevator broke for our wing midway through. The main building elevators in the middle weren’t too much of an inconvenience. The furnishings were a bit dated but were clean and functional and the kitchen utensils and appliances were adequate. Generally speaking it was tidy but the floorboards were cracked, there was tape on the walls over the master bed and it could use a little TLC.Our main issues were the lack of consumables. No salt & pepper or any spices, no foil or parchment paper, no coffee filters and other than a tiny dishsoap container and 2 laundry pods, there were no cleaning supplies. The condo was fully tiled and the floors were filthy and apparently hadn’t been mopped in some time making our feet turn black for the first couple of days before I finally resorted to using a floor towel to foot mop the place since there was no mop to be found. Also, for a condo on the beach you might expect some beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, etc. Nope none, but we left a boogie board, skim board, chair and umbrella so I hope they keep it for whoever comes after us.

End of summer vacation

We love the Lighthouse and always stay here but had not ever stayed in this unit. Overall it was fine. It was disappointing that there was no dresser or storage option for the 3rd room, just the closet. The living room desperately needs a lamp. 2 of the dining room chairs are on the verge of breaking. The most disappointing thing was the odor from the kitchen sink. It was overwhelming at times. The refrigerator needs some attention as the seal seems to have been peeled off at some point. The ice machine works wonderfully and kept us well stocked! The view was perfect and access was easy. The washer and dryer were excellent and clean. We enjoyed our time but this unit really needs some attention. ga
