Watch the stars through the skylights as you drift off in this modern loft cabin. Wake up on the water and enjoy a paddle board or do some fishing. Then jump on the Southwind rail trail for an invigorating ride.
Cabin Chesini is located at Base Camp on the edge of Humboldt, KS. Base Camp is a full-service glampground at the trailhead to Kansas' extensive network of biking trails. Our modern cabins on the shore of the quarry pond provide one of the most sought-after getaways in Kansas.
A Hidden Gem
Base Camp offers a unique modern glamping experience. Each one of our cabins (three total: Alcyon, Bianchi and Chesini) is 350 sq ft. with a tile shower, tiny kitchenette, and sleeping loft, it’s the perfect size for a couple of ‘glamping’ aficionados. Cabin Chesini has a queen bed in the loft and a modern full-size murphy bed on the main level. The kitchenette includes a small fridge, hot plate, microwave, coffee maker, French press, electric kettle and toaster. Outdoor seating includes two chairs & table on the patio. Al fresco dining thanks to a charcoal grill (charcoal and lighter fluid included), fire pit and picnic table.

Cabin Chesini is located on the 21-acre Base Camp property in Humboldt, KS. Spend your time around the property fishing, kayaking, biking or relaxing. Or take a very short car ride (or bike ride) into town where you'll find great coffee, breakfast and lunch (Wednesday-Sunday), the sweetest French candy shop, frozen custard, a local micro-brewery, virtual golf lounge, wildlife museum, and the coolest local honky tonk around.

Bring your kayak or borrow one of ours. We have watercraft (Kayaks, canoe, SUP) you can use during your stay.
Plan on biking the Southwind trail/Prairie Spirit trail? Bring your bike or borrow one of ours. We also have E-bike rentals onsite.
