This modernly furnished attic apartment on the first floor features an open-concept kitchen with an adjacent dining area, separated from the small, cozy lounge area—which offers a view of the fireplace—by a chimney flue. The three bedrooms are located off the long hallway. Two of the bedrooms each have a double bed (1.80 m), while the third bedroom is furnished with a 90-cm pull-out bed, so that the two 90-cm beds stand side by side at different heights. The large sofa arrangement in the living room offers enough space for 6 people, so you can enjoy a cozy evening here as well. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, two sinks, a washing machine, and, of course, a toilet.
If you’d like to vacation here in the beautiful Vulkaneifel with a larger group of up to 12 people, really like our attic apartment, and don’t want to be too far from the rest of your group, we can also recommend our other vacation rental. The ground-floor apartment is just as stylishly furnished, designed for 6 people, and located in the same building. Feel free to check out our EifelBleibe 2.
Are you looking for a tastefully furnished vacation apartment for up to 6 people in the beautiful Vulkaneifel? Then you’ve come to the right place.
We offer two vacation apartments, each accommodating 6 people, which can be booked individually or together. They’re located in the same building but have separate entrances. The 115-square-meter attic apartment is spacious and flooded with light thanks to the large skylights.
The ground-floor apartment features 110 square meters of living space and offers a beautiful view of the large garden. Both apartments have their own private, fenced-in garden, so you can enjoy lovely summer days in your own private garden.
From the vacation rental, there are many beautiful biking and hiking trails that can be accessed directly from the house or after a short drive. The Lieserpfad and the Eifelsteig are lovely hiking trails that wind through the nearby forest. The 58-km-long Maare-Mosel Bike Path also offers a paved cycling route through stunning scenery. The bike path runs from Daun to Bernkastel-Kues, though you can certainly start partway along the route.
The Moselle, known for its wine taverns and vineyards, is home to the towns of Bernkastel-Kues and Cochem, which can be reached in about 30 minutes by car, driving along the vineyards.
But the Manderscheid castles—Manderscheid’s iconic landmarks—are also a must-see. A hiking trail leads past both the Lower and Upper Castles, and you can round off your hike with coffee and cake at the cozy castle café at the Lower Castle. The small town center invites you to stroll and daydream. With several cafés and restaurants, it’s a great place to relax. On hot summer days, the outdoor pool—just a 3-minute walk away—is within walking distance and offers a refreshing way to cool off. However, if you want to experience that special Eifel vibe, head to one of the four swimmable maars for a wonderful day at the water.
