This quiet vacation rental, with garden access on two sides, is located in the historic outbuilding overlooking the castle. Our castle is situated directly on the Waldviertel Kamptal Bike Trail, and the nearest swimming lake—the Thurnberg Reservoir—is about 11 km away. As our guest, you’ll enjoy free admission to the museum and can take advantage of a variety of recreational activities at the castle—for example, try out the games in the game exhibition, become a “judge” in the exhibition on the judiciary, practice historical letter-writing in the Grillparzer Rooms, experience a “spooky” atmosphere in the Ancestral Woman’s Grotto, or explore the Dwarf Garden—and much more... The Rossarium is a small but spacious apartment for four people, located—as the name suggests—in the former horse stable, though the name could also derive from the abundance of beautiful roses that surround the apartment. The apartment features a kitchen with a dining area, two double bedrooms, a spacious bathroom, a small TV room, and a cozy sitting area. The vaulted ceilings in all rooms create a cozy atmosphere and capture the charm of the historic building. A deposit of 30% may be charged upon booking. The remaining balance is to be paid in cash on site. Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. Keys will be handed over in person upon arrival. Pets are allowed but are not permitted on the furniture. Surcharge: EUR 5.00 per day
