The completely new and stylishly furnished Alpine Chalet Aurora Dolomites is located in the mountain village of Lajen in a quiet and sunny setting. Directly adjacent to meadows, fields, and walking trails, guests can enjoy the beautiful natural landscape of the Eisack Valley and the Gröden Valley. Stepping right out the front door, the view sweeps across the stunning natural and cultural landscape. Guests are just a few steps away from the bus stop with connections throughout the region, and the sports and playground are also nearby. The center of Lajen, which features several restaurants, bars, and shops, is only about 300 meters away. The Alpine Chalet Aurora features its own open-air solarium and a large garden terrace, an outdoor dining and barbecue area, several sun loungers, and playground equipment for children.
The Steger family, who run the chalet, take great pleasure in ensuring their guests’ well-being. To find inner balance in this nature-filled setting, the chalet is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Activities are also easily accessible right around the property: Since the hosts themselves love exploring the mountains, they have exciting insider tips on excursions, hikes, cultural events, and even historical information.
Important to note: Guests at the chalet can participate in guided hikes free of charge to experience nature and the mountains up close. Additionally, the free Mobilcard allows guests to use public transportation. In winter, there’s a free ski bus that takes guests to the 1,200 kilometers of slopes in the Dolomiti Superski ski area.
