Our popular “Spessartfeeling” vacation home offers plenty of space for 1–6 people across 110 square meters. Located in the idyllic Main-Kinzig district, it’s the ideal vacation home for an eventful yet relaxing getaway in the Spessart.
Our “Spessartfeeling” vacation home in detail:
This cozy, well-appointed vacation bungalow—featuring a successful blend of old and new—is located in the Main-Kinzig district of Hesse, in the tranquil hamlet of Neuenhaßlau within the municipality of Hasselroth, in a location with very little traffic, just a few meters away from open spaces, forests, and meadows.
Numerous hiking, biking, and MTB trails invite you to explore the popular mixed-deciduous forest area of the Hessian Spessart and the fairy-tale land of the Brothers Grimm. Along the way, you’ll be able to add magnificent scenic views, exciting discoveries, and unforgettable moments to your treasure trove of memories.
Depending on the weather, your mood, and what you’re in the mood for, you might decide to go swimming and/or surfing at the nearby Kinzigsee or the Kahler Seenplatte. You can also visit the numerous castles, monuments, churches, museums, markets, take guided city tours, and explore palaces. Motorcycle tours are another great way to explore the area. With the kids, head out to the nearby wildlife and adventure park or one of the many playgrounds in the area. There’s something for just about every taste.
Sleeping arrangements:
The larger of the two bedrooms offers two people a wonderful, quiet place to sleep with a bed measuring 1.80 x 2.00 m, as well as a spacious closet and two dressers. It has direct access to one of the two bathrooms, and a TV is also available here.
In the second bedroom, a cozy bed measuring 1.40 x 2.00 m provides space for one or two additional people. A wardrobe and a dresser with a mirror complete this room as well.
In the living room, our comfortable sleeper sofa provides an additional sleeping option for up to two people.
A fold-out travel crib is available for toddlers.
Living area:
The attached sunroom living area features modern and cozy seating. For entertainment, you’ll find a state-of-the-art smart TV, an iPad, and a vintage tube radio with a warm, rich sound. The entire vacation rental has free Wi-Fi. An LED fire in the disused fireplace provides a delightful visual experience, not just during the cold season. From here, you can access the patio and garden or a small balcony.
Kitchen & Dining Area:
The fully equipped kitchenette features a four-burner stove, a convection oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, an orange juicer, and all sorts of other accessories. The cozy dining table offers plenty of space for 6 people—and even more. A movable counter provides space for preparing meals or snacking between meals.
Bathrooms:
In the first natural-light bathroom, you’ll find a spacious, accessible shower, a sink, and a toilet. A DAB radio provides atmospheric music.
The second natural-light bathroom features a cozy bathtub with shower, a sink, and a toilet.
Outdoor Area & Garden:
In addition to the 500-square-meter lawn, play area, and sunbathing area, the Spessartfeeling vacation home features a bright terrace with a sunshade for enjoying pleasant hours outdoors. There are two tables, each with four chairs, providing plenty of space for a larger, cheerful group. Two umbrellas, each with two lounge chairs, provide shade in different spots; a separate fire pit with firewood offers warmth, and a grill adds to the convivial atmosphere while you enjoy a culinary treat.
The fenced-in garden keeps children safe and rounds out the overall appeal of our vacation home. Your dog is also a welcome guest.
Miscellaneous:
The utility room in the basement features an additional refrigerator with ample space for beverages. You’ll also find a washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board, as well as cleaning supplies.
