We had a great stay for the most part! Plenty of space to move around and put our belongings. However there were two downsides. The first being that one of the pillows on the couch had a used bandaid on it. The second was the way the shower was positioned, the shower curtain didn’t wrap all of the way around, and the shower was right next to a window, so we had to maneuver around to make sure no one could see us while showering. Overall good stay and good location.

Please note that this unit is on the 6th floor with no elevator, requiring a climb of 5 flights of stairs. While our group managed fine, this property is not suitable for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. The stairs are mentioned in the listing, though not in the main description, which I unfortunately missed. Inside, the severe slant of the floors is genuinely uncomfortable. The kitchen area slopes so that food pools to one side of the pan when cooking on the stovetop, which impacted cooking. The apartment also leaked during a rainstorm, forcing us to scramble with pots to catch the water. While I don't necessarily blame management for a structural leak, it was an unpleasant and unexpected hassle. Regarding the bathroom, notice how that particular photo is strategically angled upward, which doesn't show the awkward layout. Though the room itself has enough space, the configuration and the slanting floor force you to be extremely careful when stepping in and out of the tub. Overall, having traveled to Manhattan for years and stayed in many apartments, I feel we overpaid for this even w/it being World Cup weekend. To end on a positive note, the property is in a prime, highly walkable location. You can easily walk to numerous restaurants, and both Little Italy and Chinatown are under 15 minutes away on foot. Furthermore, the management company provided great service. They were prompt, courteous, and very helpful with all of our questions.

We stayed here for two nights and the location is excellent. The room was clean and the main areas are quite nice. Good light coming into the apartment. And it’s surprisingly quiet at night.We were disappointed though by two things:* insufficient setup: they only had one set of towels in the entire apartment even though I noted we were two people and the listing says it sleeps three. They arranged a delivery for the second night but we had to share a towel the first morning. We also were told to rummage in the closet in the plastic bins for the bedding for the sofabed and we never found a comforter or coverlet (friend ended up making do with the small throw on the bed).* there is a reason there is no photo of the bathroom. It’s pretty basic. There is no towel hangar next to the sink and little room to put toiletries. Others have mentioned this too but the bath curtain does not go around and the shower head is on the long side of the tub so not much room. Lower East is a happening area so I think you’re paying for the location. Note that the five floor walk up which is mentioned in the listing is real. We’re pretty fit but the stairs are enough of an effort that we planned our day so we didn’t have to go up and down them more than once a day. If you have any mobility issues, this is probably not the place. (On the bright side, being on a top floor means you don’t have people stomping up and down outside of the unit.)
