The Friesenhaus Amrum “Klönschnack” half-house is a detached vacation rental on a private lot in Nebel/Süddorf, ideal for anyone seeking peace and quiet on Amrum while still being close to local amenities. With approximately 60 m² of living space, the property features 4 rooms that can accommodate up to 5 people. The half of the house spans two floors and is located on the first floor, making it well-suited for guests with different vacation schedules. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom available, so families and small groups can settle in comfortably. A special highlight is the cozy atmosphere, featuring a sofa and armchair nook as well as a private dining area—perfect for enjoying evenings together on vacation.

The property is a non-smoking home and offers a well-thought-out package of amenities indoors: Wi-Fi and TV (satellite, digital) are available, and a vacuum cleaner, books, and games ensure a variety of activities. For daily needs, there is a coat rack and a dresser, as well as heating (central heating) and hot water. The flooring in the living and sleeping areas consists of hardwood planks, which give the house its classic charm.

Cooking and relaxing are a breeze in the open kitchen, which is directly connected to the living room. Here you’ll find a ceramic-glass cooktop, an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a dishwasher. A coffee maker, electric kettle, kitchen utensils, dishes, and silverware are, of course, provided, as are cleaning supplies and a trash can. Also convenient for your vacation are the shared washer and dryer; this ensures flexibility even during longer stays. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower and features a toilet, sink, mirror, and hair dryer.

Outside, the garden—with its garden view, outdoor furniture, and a lawn for sunbathing—invites you to relax. A terrace is also part of this half of the vacation home—ideal for quiet morning coffees or winding down at the end of the day after a walk around the island. Many details have been considered for children: children are welcome, babies are also welcome, and there is a sandbox, a swing, and a sunbathing area with lounge chairs. Additionally, a high chair and a crib are available, making the stay particularly hassle-free for families.

The location makes “Klönschnack” particularly attractive: shopping options are only about 200 m away, and restaurants are about 1,000 m away. The sandy beach is about 900 m away, and the sea is about 1,200 m away. The ferry is about 3,000 m away, and public transportation is also nearby (approx. 120 m). A private parking lot with one parking space is available, but a car isn’t necessary—this allows you to enjoy Amrum comfortably and stress-free. Frisian vacation romance under a thatched roof

The Friesenhaus Amrum in Süddorf, one of the oldest houses on the island, was designated a historic landmark in 2007. The subsequent comprehensive renovation, including the interior, was carried out in close collaboration with the historic preservation authorities. Old wooden floors and walls were sealed or painted in their original colors—white, light gray, and blue.
This allowed the authentic Frisian charm to be preserved while offering modern and contemporary comfort.

The two half-houses, Hommelkasche (up to 6 people) and Klönschnack (up to 5 people), each have a separate entrance and their own garden area with a lovely dining area.
Behind the house is a large playground. Our younger guests are welcome to use the sandbox and swing set at the neighboring Sütjers Hus.

One parking space is available for each unit.
