The lake will be back to normal level April 2027! Bring the WHOLE family to this spacious 8 bedroom, 5 bath home located on Secord Lake in Gladwin, Michigan. We bought this home in November and have spent months getting it ready to share with others! Check it out! There is a game room with extra sleeping space for kids/adults featuring 2 twin beds, a queen on bottom, double on top bunk bed and a pullout couch. This home is 6000 square feet and sleeps up to 25 people. There are 2 fully equipped kitchens for all of your cooking needs. Outside you will find two docks and a Sea Doo ramp that fits two jet skis, so bring your toys! There are also kayaks, a paddle boat and a swim platform for guests to use. Guests can unwind in the hot tub and relax on the patio while grilling out. We have a barbecue grill and a flat top grill to help feed your large group. Across the road you will find a fire pit on 17 acres. In the game room there is air hockey, shuffleboard, a pool table, giant Connect Four, giant Kerplunk and a large Tic Tac Toe board. There is also a karaoke machine for everyone to enjoy. In the primary bedroom there is a king bed along with a pull out couch, which is great for parents with small children. There is also a view of the lake with a door that goes out onto the deck, a television and an attached full bathroom, including a washer and dryer. 5 of the other bedrooms all have queen beds and a view of the lake. The other two bedrooms have queen beds also and a tv in lieu of a view of the lake. There are two living areas and a sun room giving guests lots of room to gather. We have a high chair and two pack-n-plays along with some children's dinnerware for our younger guests and there is a gate the the top of the stairs in the kitchen, which is helpful for parents of babies.

There are great golf courses nearby such as Sugar Springs in Gladwin and the famous Dream and Nightmare courses in West Branch.

Secord Lake is a great spot for swimming, fishing and boating. At the moment, the lake level is still lower than normal due to the ongoing dam restoration, so boats typically need to be beached or moored rather than tied directly to the docks. The lake is expected to return in April 2027!!
