Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would rate it 3.5 out of 5, rounded up to 4. The second-floor condo is in a quiet neighborhood that was perfect for our family. It's a short walk to the lake and we enjoyed watching the July 4th fireworks from the pier. The neighborhood pool and hot tub were also great. The condo has a nice view with a small glimpse of the lake. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and there were several board games available. We also appreciated the extra blankets for cool mornings and the recently remodeled bathrooms. The listing advertised air conditioning, which was a major reason we booked this property over another. When we arrived, the condo was 84 degrees and hot from the afternoon sun through open blinds, making the first night uncomfortable. The next day we kept the blinds closed during the day and the condo stayed comfortable after that. There are several box fans to help keep cool.Amenities were lighter than we typically see in vacation rentals. There were only seven bath towels, no beach towels, and no pool or lake gear. We purchased beach towels during our stay and left them behind for guests.A few maintenance items could use attention. Some dishes were dirty, the hot water ran out after about 1.5 showers, and the master shower drains slowly. The outdoor furniture was covered in pollen and some pieces are broken. With some cleaning, maintenance, and a more amenities, this could be an excellent rental. Despite those issues, we enjoyed our stay!
