The Space:

Escape to the scenic splendor of the Columbia River Gorge at this modern studio. Bright and inviting, the studio boasts incredible surrounding views and comes complete with highlights including a private gas grill and an updated full kitchen with stainless steel appliances. In the summer months, you'll be busy searching for waterfalls, kayaking, paddling, fishing, hiking, or exploring nearby state parks. Winter days are best spent enjoying endless snow sports on Mt. Hood, just 60 miles away. Take a trip into central Stevenson, within a mile, there are many restaurants, breweries, cafés, and shops. After a fun-filled day of adventures enjoy your evenings on the cozy patio to watch the beautiful sunset over the mountain and take in the overlook of the mighty Columbia River.

The wrong door code was in the check-in email and we had to call customer service to get in, and that was annoying. Please put the code to get out of the laundry room INSIDE the laundry room, or change the locks. Please get recycling and update the binder information.

Cozy space close to town

This studio is very close to the cute town of Stevenson. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Studio was clean the small kitchen perfect for the space.

Cozy space, a little noisy

Overall, this property had everything we needed to make for a very pleasant stay. The only negative was that there is little soundproofing between this unit and the upstairs unit. We could basically hear every sound and step taken on the upstairs hard surface, including a very active dog with some noisy toenails.

Amazing location!

We could walk right downtown to Stevenson 2 blocks away. Charming community (make sure go to North Bank Books. We ate at the Texicantina and Red Bluff Tap House, both excellent). Well cared for and clean, everything feels new. Bed was very supportive and comfortable. Backyard is private and wooded. Enjoyed sitting on the patio with drinks. There is a mini split so air conditioning is actually there, even though description says it doesn’t have any. The only drawback is we could hear the guest upstairs walking around.

Quiet Stevenson

The property was just right. We loved being able to walk into town, get coffee, and enjoy the beautiful views. The code that was given to unlock the key box on the post was not correct. We tried many times. Finally we called the help number and were given a different code, to get the key to enter. The door mechanism is also strange.

The noise level between the upstairs and downstairs was intolerable. Arriving guests upstairs made so much noise when they arrived at 3am until they finally settled at about 5am that even my almost dead husband could sleep. Upstairs needs to be carpeted and there needs to be a quiet time set. When we first arrived, it took over 15 minutes to get into the studio because the first code and then the second given to us didnt work and the video doesn’t show an accurate depiction. And to top it off, there is nowhere to sit other than two office chairs and the bed. It screams for a loveseat and coffee table and side tables- not filing cabinets next to the bed. The bathroom was great although the tub drips. Lastly, the TV was so dark we couldn’t see much going on on the screen. It’s a good private location if one needs to be in Stevenson but if the noise issue isn’t dealt with, sadly, we won’t be back.
