The Space:

This lovely Ocean Park home is a serene retreat for all! With a prime location within walking distance of the ocean, you'll also have all the comforts and conveniences of home.



Start your mornings with a warm cup of coffee on the expansive deck, watching as the furry members of your family stretch their legs. When you get hungry, the well-equipped kitchen makes cooking a breeze, whereas the numerous dining spots give you options on where you'd like to enjoy your meal. The living area boasts a large TV, ideal for morning newscasts and evening movie viewings. A wood-burning fireplace and elective heating are even available for chillier nights. Sure to be well-loved by the entire group, a collection of board games and a Ping-Pong table await hours of entertainment.



Come evening, head back out to the deck to watch magnificent sunsets as orange and pink hues blend beautifully across the sky. Five bedrooms are comfortably furnished for restful slumber and are lined with soft linens and ample natural lighting. A private washer/dryer rounds out the creature comforts.



While exploring Coastal Washington, be sure to check out the Cranberry Museum, Peninsula Golf Course, the Gray Whale Sculpture, Cape Disappointment State Park, and North Head Lighthouse.

Convenient location with easy access to beach. Great outdoor spaces. Rooms were comfortable. Kitchen was adequate. Some pot and pans were not very clean, with burnt on food the was not scrubbed off. The fire alarm would go off when the oven door opens. Refrigerator light was not working.Communication was not great. Automated replies do not respond appropriately. I left a day early. I let them know and still got a check out notice the next day after I had gotten home.

The review response I would like for this one is, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback after your stay. We’re truly sorry to hear that. The kitchen and a few appliances didn’t meet your expectations; we appreciate you pointing this out so we can make improvement. We’re disappointed to hear that some of the pots and pans still had burnt residue. Our cleaning team is usually very thorough but it sounds like they missed a few items this time. We’re already reinforcing our instructions with the housekeepers and will do a spot check on all cookware moving forward. The fire alarm triggered when the oven door opens is something we dealt with. We are also looking into the refrigerator light. We also apologize that our communication fell short during your stay. We’re reviewing our messaging process to make sure future guests have quicker and clear responses. Your feedback is valuable and helps us improve the property. We’d love to host you again in the future and make it right if you ever return to the area. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there is anything else we can help with.

Our six-night stay was very enjoyable. We had four adults and six children, and there was ample space for everyone (5 bedrooms).Pros:1) Very spacious, including a kitchen table (for the children), a separate dining room (for the adults), and also a picnic table out on the deck.2) The kitchen was well-stocked, The bathrooms included fresh linens, and included dispensers for shampoo, conditioners, and body/hand wash.3) On-site washer and dryer.4) Ample parking for three vehicles, with room for more.5) Quick walk to the beach6) Property management (Avari) was very responsive to our needs.Cons:1) Disappointed that the oven was broken when we arrived (we were notified by the management company, including a representative that visited us at the house to give us an update).2) The house is on the older side (built in the sixties), but despite a few owner upgrades, some things need updating (televisions/DVD player, need to update blinds/drapes, some of the furniture).3) Could have used a hose to clean off sandy feet. Also a blower to remove sand and leaves from outdoor deck.4) Could have used an outdoor BBQ.Overall, a very nice week, and would recommend it to any friends or relatives.,

This property is so close to being amazing but small things keep it as just okay. The location is great. The house layout is a bit odd but pretty charming. It’s big, great for large families. But parts of it are very dated. One of the biggest issues is the electrical outlets. Many of them, especially the ones right beside the beds, won’t hold your chargers. The slightest tug on the cord will pull the charger out of the wall. A simple and inexpensive upgrade would make a huge difference. There were multiple hot water tanks in that house yet somehow it always seemed like never enough hot water for even two showers in the primary bathroom. Some of the fixtures and fittings were old and getting loose. The shower drain in the main bathroom had no screws so the plate was just totally loose. We had some issues during the stay but communication was excellent. Cleanliness was just okay. The kitchen and main areas were fine. The house has lots of corners and crevices and it clearly hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in awhile. Cobwebs, spiders, visible debris, etc. Check the smoke alarms. Two of them were dead and a third one didn’t work because it was nearly 20 years old. They need a better standard maintenance routine. The oven and range didn’t work the entire stay. They replaced it on our last day there but it turns out it was the electrical, not the appliance. They offered us a 100 refund which was nice but we spent way more having to eat out instead of cook.
