The Space:

Devonshire 112 is a perfect island home a close walk to the beach! Boasting updated furnishings and a designer remodel, this four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Port Royal Village is one-of-a-kind! Enter via the foyer to enjoy the spacious living area with beautiful hardwood floors. The kitchen welcomes you with updated stainless steel appliances, beautiful stone counters, and a breakfast nook with seating for four. The kitchen opens to the dining and living areas by way of the pass-through window featuring a breakfast bar with seating for two. The dining table is adjacent to the breakfast bar and offers additional seating for six guests. The living room is bright and inviting, with a large wall-mounted flatscreen TV and ample seating on the large sectional sofa and accompanying chair. The courtyard patio is a wonderful option for additional and separate entertaining space. Surrounded by a privacy wall and a gated enclosure (serving as a shortcut to and from the leisure path to the beach), this space offers mixed-use entertaining with a sofa, cushioned chairs, a fire table, a large dining table which offers seating for six, and a three-burner gas grill.



Bedroom and Bathroom Configurations

The first-level bedroom is just off the foyer when entering the unit. This offers front and side-view windows, a flatscreen TV, and a bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

The main bedroom is located just behind the dining area off the living room and offers a flatscreen TV, courtyard-view windows, and a private en-suite bath with dual vanities, double sinks, and a large glass-enclosed walk-in shower with a shower seat. The second-floor first bedroom features a flatscreen TV and access to the third bathroom from the hallway which features a shower/tub combo and is shared with the fourth bedroom that includes a flatscreen TV.

Love this beach house.Pros: Ideal location, short walk to beach and a restaurant. Sand toys, wagon and chairs all available. Lots of nice bedrooms. Kitchen has plenty of dishes and utensil. Does need a kitchen wash rag.Cons: Minor really- bedroom upstairs is in need of a dresser, not a lot of storage in common areas.

Great condo with outdoor patio

Very clean with great amenities, including 4 good beach chairs and beach cart. The outdoor space was great with working grill and firepit. Beach walk is about 10 minutes but the Westin allowed us to drop off our elderly mother and all our gear so it was manageable. Very private and quiet.

The condo was beautiful, very clean and a close walk to the beach. It was just what we needed for our family of 7. The large couch comfortably fit us all and there were enough beds for everyone. It was a perfect place to stay and we all really enjoyed it. The only problem I ran into was that the patio door was broke when we arrived. It did not lock. We got into our condo about 7pm, then grocery shopped and didn’t notice the broken door until later. The company that manages their rental said someone would call me and be out in the morning to fix it. Eventhough it was a little unnerving to sleep with it wide open to anyone, I understood that they don’t come out after hours. I ended up calling them again at noon the next day because we wanted to leave but I had not heard anything from them. They said the order was out to fix it but they didn’t know when they were going to. Once again it was a little unnerving to leave our belongings with the condo wide open. It was fixed later that afternoon by the time we came back. We had one more issue where we had to contact the company and the lady who I spoke with was a great help. It was not a big deal, we blew a fuse using multiple blow dryers at once. All of that being said, I would stay at this condo again in a heartbeat. I just wish the company that managed the place was a little more attentive when it comes to big issues like being left wide open for a night and day.

Perfect In Almost Every Way...

We loved the accommodations and it is perfect for families. The unit is stocked with water toys, chairs and pool/beach supplies. The pool is very close and convenient. The beach is more like a 10+ minute walk than a 6 minute walk, but you can always drive to drop off your crew. It was sparkling clean and each of the four bedrooms are broken up in such a way that there is a lot of privacy. The upstairs smaller bedroom, with two twin beds, stays a bit warm. We had our teens leave the door open to keep the air flowing and they migrated down to the spacious sofa to sleep as needed. We enjoyed the convenience of the master shower, especially with little ones; it was easy to toss every one in and clean off the sand after a day at the beach. The beds and linens are good quality and comfortable. There are plenty of towels. Our family was really excited about the patio area and fire pit but we had some rainy nights and didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we had hoped. The grill is the wild card. It worked great the first night, second night it didn’t get as hot as only half the burners were working; we had to take half-cooked food inside. The third night, it turned on full blast mid way through cooking ribs and set our food ablaze—and almost my husband as well. We are avid grillers, and the grill is user friendly just erratic in functioning. I’d recommend the management look into servicing or replacing it. In addition, the blinds in the kitchen fall off the wall if you try to raise them. The snapping mechanisms on the sides are broken. Regardless of a couple minor challenges, we give this stay a 5 out of 5 stars because so much more was perfect. We made wonderful memories in this tastefully decorated space. We learned there will be a new baby in the family next year. We brought our moms on vacation after 5 years for one and a decade plus for the other since last vacationing. We fully recommend this beautiful space to build priceless memories with your family on your next vacation. We will certainly be returning.

Needs some TLC

The condo's location is perfect, and we loved the layout of the place. We particularly liked that the bedrooms were spread out, and the spacious kitchen is perfect for cooking in. It was easy to get to the beach, and the pool is close also. We enjoyed the privacy of the patio, but we couldn't get the fire pit to work when we wanted to use it at night. The bed linens need replaced, as they are quite old and dated. The TV in the Master BR was missing the remote, so it was stuck on one channel the whole week. We wanted a family movie night using the TV in the living room, but it required a passcode to use, and we weren't provided that info, so we went to Walmart and bought our own board games since none were provided. We had a great time, but would love to see some improvements for the next guests.

Fantastic place for a family vacation

This was our second time coming to this house. We love staying here. The location is great, quick drive to Publix and Whole Foods. The home has everything you need. Bedrooms are a great size. The outdoor space is calm and relaxing. The home is a short walk to the public beach which was not crowded and had a playground, bathrooms, etc. The home has fantastic beach chairs so you can leave yours at home. We plan to come again next year!

Place is exactly what we need for our family. Well maintained for most part. Did have issues with patio screen door and noticed hole in wall in master bedroom from door handle. Need a door stop there. Rest of facility was great. Tried t o book for next year having difficulty. Emailed local manager hoping to get a response so we can plan for 2023

Easy booking and check-in. House was wonderful with plenty of room for everyone. Outside patio was great bonus. We enjoyed almost all meals out here, being fenced in was great as we had a toddler traveling with us. Only downfall was a bit of a walk to the beach. In the hot sun, a ten minute walk seemed further. Pool was great size and never overly busy to be enjoyed. House came equipped with several nice beach chairs and umbrella, this was not advertised so nice surprise! Cart was very helpful.in getting all of these things to the beach. Only downfall was no beach towels available at the house. Overall great experience!

Fantastic location and great for families with kids

We had a great time. It was our first stay in Hilton Head. It was a quiet location. Close to the beach. Our favorite beach spot was the Islanders Beach Park. It had a beautiful boardwalk partially shaded by trees, bathrooms, playground, and even a sand toy borrow bin. The best for having kids. The beach wasn’t super crowded either. All in a short walk from the house. The house came with fantastic beach chairs and other beach equipment. The actual home was spotless. The rental agency even verified it was cleaned prior to our arrival. The living room is super cozy and the dining table fits a large crowd. The outdoor patio was great at night with the perfect lighting, cozy chairs, and the fire pit. The beds are all comfy. Bedrooms are spacious. We had 5 adults and 2 small kids and didn’t feel crowded. We enjoyed our stay so much we are planning to return next year.

Great location and spacious home

We stayed here with our friends and have six kids between us. The home was as nice as the pictures show and very clean. There was so much space to sleep, especially with kids and pack n plays. The outside patio was perfect for drying things out after the beach/pool. We had two minor home fixes that were resolved quickly. The only downside was all of the mosquitoes we were bit by. I don’t know that there’d be any way to resolve this as the condo is next to a small lagoon and there are a lot of trees around. Erin with Vacasa was very kind and professional when handling our issues. I usually book through other sites, but I’d be more likely to go through them in the future based on our experience for this vacation.

Family Vacay at Hilton Head

This was the perfect getaway! The house was beautiful and the perfect setup for two families! The beds were super comfy. The beach wasn’t too far of a walk, and we had everything we needed. The kids loved making s’mores by the fire pit in the evening. It was a vacation we will never forget and we’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
