Family Fun At The Flowage. Lake House. 4 bedrooms 3 bath. 30 min. to Lambeau

This lake house is a large 4 bedroom, 3 full bathroom (one on each level) home on the Machickanee Flowage (Lake) with dock. Every bedroom looks out over the water. As does the living, dining, three season room and part of the kitchen. The house is fully furnished, and the kitchen is stocked with stainless steel cooking and kitchenware. For your coffee enjoyment we provide a programmable drip machine and a Keurig machine. A morning coffee overlooking the water is so relaxing. Fiber internet is also provided.

On the top floor there are 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom overlooks the water and has a queen bed and walk in closet and the second upstairs bedroom also overlooks the water, has a walk-in closet and is a "kids" room, which includes a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom, and a twin on top. The room also has a pull-out twin bed for a slumber party. Walk in closet. There is a shared full bathroom between the two bedrooms. It has two sinks and vanities and a tub/shower combo.

On the main level you will find a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, stainless steel pots, pans and cooking utensils. Granite counter tops, a dining room, a main bedroom with a king bed, and a 3 seasons room. The dining space has room for 10 to sit around, so the whole family can congregate after a full day. The 3 seasons room is a place to come sit in the morning as you watch the sun come up with a cup of coffee in your hands. The main floor bedroom has a king bed and an attached bathroom, which includes separate shower as well as a jetted tub.

The lower level has a fourth bedroom with a queen and full bed. The common area is set up for family fun with plenty of seating room for everyone. If it's cold outside a fire in the natural Niagara Escarpment stone fireplace is a must. Or for a more competitive time we have family arcade games. Alternatively turn off the lights and pop some popcorn while you watch a movie on the Roku TV.

The lower level also walks out to Machickanee Lake. We provide a charcoal grill and chairs for you to relax as you watch the sky's reflection on the water and soak in the calmness of the lake. If you want to be active on the lake, we provide 4 adult kayaks, 2 kids kayaks and supply life jackets (Memorial Day to Labor Day). The water level may vary depending on the flow decided by the municipal government. As a result, we don't recommend larger boats moore at our dock. The dock is a good place to launch the kayaks. On the Machickanee there are multiple boat launches in different areas of the flowage for fun on the lake with your boat. If “big water” is an attraction then there are boat launches 18 minutes away in Oconto, WI (different than Oconto Falls, WI) that will put you and your boat right on the bay of Green Bay. The water surface area of the bay of Green Bay is 1,626 square miles.

There is a wonderful swimming beach 7 minutes away in Oconto Falls, WI. Plenty of room to build a sandcastle or sit down and relax. They also have local food, attractions, and everyday amenities such as a grocery store, pharmacy, car wash, and gas station. We include maps showing some great public trails to explore. If you want to do something adventurous try the Bay Beach Amusement park, N.E.W. Adventure Park, ATV trails. You're only a half an hour away from Historic Lambeau field, Titletown District and other Green Bay activities.

In the winter ice fishing, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling are on offer.
