The “Meeresstern” apartment—a light-filled 75 qm space where you can relax and unwind.
After an eventful day of vacation, you can wind down on the 28-square-meter south-facing rooftop terrace.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor and is accessible via an elevator. It features a spacious bedroom with a box-spring bed. There is also a living-dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and a convertible sofa (1.70 m x 2.00 m sleeping surface). The bathroom, with a walk-in shower, features its own sauna.
The cozy and modern furnishings were designed with allergy sufferers in mind. Children are also very welcome. A high chair and a travel crib are available, as well as a parking space and a private storage room for bicycles. In addition to two flat-screen TVs, the apartment features Wi-Fi, a washing machine, a CD radio with an USB port, books, and games. During the summer months (starting in mid-May), a private beach chair awaits you on the beach, located 500 m away.
If you’re arriving by electric car, you can charge it here using a wallbox. Billing is based on usage at the current electricity rate and is handled directly at the charging station.

For arrivals within 5 days, we accept only payments via real-time bank transfer. The former fishing village of Haffkrug is likely the oldest seaside resort in the Bay of Lübeck. Once shaped by fishing, traces of the old fishermen can still be found here today. Along the promenade, you’ll find, among other things, a fishing nature trail. Stroll along the kilometer-long promenade: on one side, the white, gently sloping sandy beach; on the other, past small boutiques, cafés, and a wide variety of restaurants. Enjoy delicious seafood specialties while taking in a spectacular view of Lübeck Bay. For the little ones, there are various playgrounds and special activities during school breaks. Or take a bike ride right along the coast to the nearby towns of Scharbeutz and Timmendorfer Strand. Whether you’re looking for an active, leisurely, and relaxing getaway or an educational experience, there’s something for everyone in Haffkrug and the surrounding area. Neustadt, Lübeck, and Kiel are also not far away.

We really liked the apartment, but unfortunately, it isn’t suited to our needs. People with limited mobility need grab bars in the shower and by the toilet. Also, no modern, saggy couch that you can’t get up from!

A very nice apartment. Everything was super clean. A great, large rooftop terrace. A large storage room with a washing machine. Everything you need is there. The surroundings are quiet. It’s a 5–10-minute walk to the beach. A beach chair on the beach is also included with the apartment.

We’ve already booked several Quartierfreund vacation rentals, and this one once again confirms why we now only look for QF vacation rentals :-) Very nice apartment, beautifully furnished, and a huge sun terrace where the sun shines almost all day long! If there’s any “criticism” to be made at all: the (open) kitchen is very cramped—there’s almost no room for two people. As soon as the dishwasher or a cabinet is open, it blocks off practically everything… That wouldn’t work at home, but for a vacation, it’s no big deal
