The house is a semi-detached home that was completely renovated in 2021 and converted into a vacation home. Inside, you’ll find 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed, and the sofa bed in the living room can accommodate 2 additional guests. Two bedrooms and the living room are equipped with a TV. The house is in impeccable condition. The furnishings are modern and, in terms of quality and variety, are comparable to what you would find in a residential home; therefore, you will want for nothing. The lots of both halves of the house are not separated by a fence but are not shared; you have your own garden and outdoor seating area.
Property
The vacation home (one half of the duplex) is located on a shared lot with my parents’ residence. The lots are not separated by a fence in the middle; the half of the lot belonging to the vacation home is available for your exclusive use. Both properties together are completely fenced in at the back of the house, extending all the way to the forest.
Outdoor seating:
The terrace in front of the front door comfortably seats 4 people; there, you can enjoy your meals or simply relax on beautiful summer days. A large terrace, with an unobstructed view of the Lilienstein and seating for up to 8 people, is located further up the property.
Hiking trails
You can start your hikes toward Gohrischstein, Pfaffenstein, and Papststein directly from the forest adjacent to the property.
Transportation Access – A Nature Vacation Without Compromises:
A 10-minute walk to the train station,
20 minutes to the A13 highway,
1 minute to the Saxon Switzerland Nature Reserve.
Parking:
If you’re arriving by car, there’s space for 2 cars in the gravel parking lot in front of the house. If you’re arriving in an SUV or minivan, parking is limited to one vehicle. If you’re traveling with more vehicles, you’ll need to find parking on your own; parking in the neighborhood is limited, so you’ll likely have to use parking spots in town. In return, you’ll be rewarded with idyllic tranquility and a great view.
Pets:
Pets are very welcome; however, please ensure that dogs do not roam freely on the property—they must either be well-behaved or kept on a leash. We allow a maximum of 2 pets in the house.
