The apartment was clean and thoughtfully decorated and maintained. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Check-in and out were very easy. The family loved being able to walk to multiple delicious dining options.

Perfect place to stay when using it as a base camp to get around the are. Excellent communication from the host. She made it easy to stay there.

Cute apartment, very clean and host was great. Bathroom and kitchen are a little small but worked for us. Conveniently location to Uconn, Coventry Lake, next door to bar & grill (which was great)!. Cute town with antique shops.

Jenny was very responsive with communication. The apartment is cozy, could be a little tight with 6 adults - as the listing mentions the table only seats 4, and the kitchen and bathroom are not large, but are fully functional. The Bidwell Tavern was closed for vacation the week we were there, but would have been super convenient. The sushi restaurant was delicious and we walked to the lake, which was lovely. Great location to explore eastern CT.

An unpleasant odor was immediately noticed upon entering the unit, which we couldn’t get used to and made us feel uncomfortable. Told there is an air purifier in the closet, but couldn't shake the initial uncomfortable feeling. The bathroom floor was a little dirty, and there was a dried, sticky area on the kitchen floor near the bedroom. The unit looks as pictured. A pretty lake nearby with a small beach area. Some hiking trails across the street from the property as well. Enjoyed sushi dinner at Wasabi across the street, then checked into a hotel where we felt much more comfortable for our 2-night stay.

I am sorry that our property did not fully meet your expectations. Our home received professional cleaning and maintenance on the day of your arrival. While our team did not notice any unusual odors, any scent you encountered was likely from the professional cleaning products used, and we apologize if it was not to your liking. We also provide a Dyson air purifier for your convenience. Regarding the kitchen floor, those marks are from recent floor refinishing, not dirt. I regret that we were not given the opportunity to assist you, as I was informed of these concerns only after your departure. My goal is always to provide a wonderful experience, and I am glad to hear that you were able to find a comfortable stay at a hotel.

The listing and photos were very detailed and accurately represented the space, so there were no surprises when we arrived. We were primarily there to sleep and shower while visiting campus, and it worked well for our needs. The location made it easy to get back and forth to campus, and having Bidwell Restaurant right next door was a nice bonus for grabbing a meal. Parking was convenient since it’s located behind the building. The unit was clean, we didn’t hear the neighbors, and it comfortably accommodated three family members for sleeping. We also didn’t need to communicate with the host because everything was straightforward.A few things future guests should know: the steps up to the second floor are quite steep, so keep that in mind if mobility is a concern. The kitchen and bathroom are small but completely functional. There was a musty smell that persisted throughout our two-day stay. Also, the property is on a major road, so there is continuous street noise.
