This place is a bit rustic, and lovely! And naturally the view was gorgeous!! We really wanted for nothing while here. It was pretty well stocked, and the furniture was quite comfortable. The deck was fabulous and an amazing place to sit and enjoy the fall color while drinking our coffee with Bailey’s.

Quaint cottage with a beautiful view. We had a wonderful time on a girls’ vacation. An easy drive to so many coastal towns.

We had such a wonderful stay on Linda Lane and absolutely loved our time on North Pond. It was exactly the kind of Maine getaway we were hoping for—peaceful, beautiful, and incredibly relaxing.The setting on the pond is really special. We loved the quiet mornings, being surrounded by nature, and simply slowing down and enjoying the water and the scenery. The house was comfortable and welcoming and made a perfect home base for our time in Maine.

It is a beautiful property and we loved the peace and quiet. It would have been perfect but there were a couple places that could have been cleaned better and the shell chandelier in the shower, while nice looking, is too low for anyone taller than 5'10 so we kept getting hit in the head and face with shells while showering. Other than that, it was perfect

We had a wonderful week staying at the camp! It’s a beautiful, quiet location down a long dirt road. We spent time enjoying the canoe, listening to the loons and sitting on the screened porch as well as kayaking with the kayaks we brought with us. It is a great spot to get away, but also close enough to enjoy activities in nearby Camden. Overall a terrific week!

Adorable house and great location...our family loved it. A couple things to note, there is only one AC, which might have been fine in normal summer weather but we were there during the 110 heat wave, so my husband and I had no privacy to allow the air to move from our bedroom to the rest of the house. Also, there are no doors to the rooms, just curtains. Also, there were definately spots around the house the cleaners had not touched in probably months. We still had a great time!

The extreme 110° heat during your stay was certainly unusual, and we understand how the single A/C unit made it more challenging to keep the whole house comfortable. We do our best to describe the home's layout in the listing, including the curtain room dividers, but we appreciate your perspective on how that impacted your stay. We're especially grateful for your comments about the cleaning. Lovely seasonal lake cottage. Great Lake view and access, canoe provided for a gentle paddle. Quiet and peaceful. Really enjoyed our stay. Love, love, love that the host gets ‘vacation’.
