I’m Myrick, a proud Kansas City host, husband, father of four, and entrepreneur who genuinely enjoys creating spaces where people can relax, reconnect, and feel at home. Born in Detroit and raised in Kansas City, I’ve always believed hospitality is about more than just providing a place to sleep — it’s about creating an experience people remember.

I’ve spent years working in customer service, sales, and business, and one thing I’ve learned is that people appreciate communication, comfort, and attention to detail. That mindset is what inspired me to begin hosting. I wanted to create clean, comfortable, family-friendly spaces that feel welcoming whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway, business trip, sporting event, concert, tournament, or family gathering.

What I enjoy most about hosting is helping guests experience Kansas City the right way. From amazing BBQ and local attractions to sports, nightlife, and major events, there’s always something exciting happening here. I also love adding thoughtful touches to make each stay feel special — including complimentary snack baskets and bottled water courtesy of Cozy Comforts by Charles Stays.

My goal is simple: provide a smooth, stress-free stay where guests feel comfortable, valued, and taken care of from check-in to check-out. I chose this neighborhood because it offers a peaceful, comfortable atmosphere while still being conveniently located near many of Kansas City’s top attractions, restaurants, shopping areas, and entertainment venues. One thing I really appreciate is how quiet and relaxed the area is. Many of the neighbors are longtime residents who keep to themselves, which helps create a calm environment for guests looking to unwind and enjoy their stay.

Another thing I love is the added sense of privacy the property offers, including having no homes directly across the street. Whether guests are visiting for work, family time, sporting events, concerts, or simply a getaway, the neighborhood provides a nice balance of convenience and comfort without the heavy traffic and noise of busier areas.

It’s also a great central location for guests wanting quick access to Kansas City attractions while still being able to come back to a cozy, relaxing space at the end of the day.
