The Space:

The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops. A well-rested vacation awaits at this charming, family-friendly, condo just steps away from the beach! It's well-equipped with everything you and your guests could ever need to spend an unforgettable time together. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony with terrific views, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable. Things to Know The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed. The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026. The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers. Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Room was very clean with a great view of the Ocean. Property has great amenities -cafe food, tiki bar, game room, indoor and outdoor pools and the ability to walk right out onto the beach from the deck. We absolutely recommend visiting! Very family oriented and lots to do! Aside from some minor parking issues upon arrival (due to other vacationers parking in non parking areas blocking our assigned space) we had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the beach views!

The room was clean. The resort was fun and inviting. We enjoyed the beach, indoor pool and arcade room. The parking was a little challenging because our spot was right by the door which was great for us but a car or two blocked our spot(I’m assuming they were unloading their cars). The security guard was very helpful and called us when the car left so we could move back to our spot. The AC in the condo wasn’t working properly but hopefully someone will be fixing it when we left. Thankfully there were fans!! Even though there were a couple issues, we had a great stay and would stay again.

The property was well appointed with a great location and view of the ocean with nice amenities. The condo could use a deep cleaning. My issue was with the "property management company". There were 2 sets of instructions for the entry door code instructions, neither of which were correct. Additionally, the entry door lock buttons were wearing out and it took us numerous tries to unlock the door each time. I messaged several times we were having trouble getting into the condo. They very politely provided absolutely no assistance. As a property manager myself, this was unacceptable. We had to ask Security to let us in during our last day. When we told Security who we booked through they laughed and had some negative commentary. I hope the property owner considers changing to a different management company.
