The Space:

Escape to all the natural beauty Wisconsin has to offer by staying at this woodsy retreat. Located right on Boygan Lake, this adorable bungalow-style home offers all the fun that comes with being right on the water, while also providing the necessary serenity and peacefulness you look for when booking a vacation. Close to many beautiful hiking trails, Sylvania Wilderness, Star Lake Hiking Trail, and Plum Lake Hemlock Forest State Natural Area are all located less than 25 miles away. Boygan is just one of the many lakes nearby, so be prepared to partake in a plethora of water-based recreational activities such as kayaking, canoeing, and fishing! Cast a line out on your own dock and enjoy the reflections of the trees hitting the water. Sheer comfort can be found alongside the outdoor firepit, as you roast a s'more, gaze at the stars, and share campfire stories.



Cozy is the perfect word to describe this enchanting retreat. The living area invites you in with the warm crackling sound coming from the wood stove, plush seating is perfect for lounging and visiting amongst, the well-equipped kitchen awaits tasty creations to be concocted, and the dining room table presents a beautiful view as you overlook the vast back deck and lake while enjoying your meals. Central air-conditioning, a private washer/dryer, and several TVs give you all of the comforts you crave when on a trip. Head out in the available canoe for a sunrise ride around the lake to start your day off right and spend your evenings gathered around the firepit planning out the following day's adventures.

The house itself is very charming and cozy. Loved how the bedrooms were on opposite sides of the house. The kitchen is large and adequately stocked. Great lake view and very peaceful.

Property was beautiful, clean, quiet, spacious and well provisioned. WE had some problems with check-in because the directions for opening the lock did not correspond to the kind of lock on the door. All in all, though it was a very pleasant stay at a very nice location

The house layout was perfect for our needs and the location was prime. After skiing at Brule it was cozy warming up next to the fireplace. This is one of the cleanest places we have stayed. Everything was wonderful about this house and have nothing bad to say about the home or property. It was easy entering and leaving from texted instructions. We did have a big snow storm and had to reach out to the management company and responses seemed a little odd (maybe it was an AI generated response)? Overall, this place was fabulous and we look forward to returning.

Love that lake no gas motors fun fishing because nobody does…. Pan fish and large mouth bass….worms worked best Home is very nice living and kitchen room 32’ by 26’ we measured…. Vacasa was great also, Thanks

Northwoods Paradise

Wonderful place. If you love nature, this is the place for you. Fishing was amazing. Relaxation at its very best. House had everything you need for a comfortable extended stay. Will definitely be back!

Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed our time at the property. The deck was a great place to relax and take in the surroundings, and we especially enjoyed spending evenings around the fire pit.There were a few issues that prevented our stay from being excellent. When we arrived, the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, which was disappointing. The spare bedroom door did not shut properly, making it difficult to have privacy in that room. The listing mentioned a grill, but it was only a very small tabletop model that was not practical for preparing meals for our group of five. We were also looking forward to using the canoes, but they were stored all the way up by the garage, making access inconvenient.Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the property's location and outdoor spaces. With a few improvements and better attention to maintenance and guest readiness, this could be an even better rental experience.

Beautiful cozy cabin with everything you need

This was one of our favorite cabins to stay in! It’s very spacious, extremely clean, and has everything you need from spices to pots and pans, wood, blankets, extra comforters, etc. It was so comfortable and the view of the water is stunning. Close to the cute town of Land O Lakes and also ski mountains. We would love to come back here again!

Quiet Peaceful Place

Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies.

Great getaway!

We were looking for some down-time; a nice, quiet few days. This place delivered! The small lake was fantastic, the firepit was awesome, we used the rowboat (thank you!), and the home was equipped with almost everything we needed (while there was plenty of firewood on premise, it was wet wood, so we did buy dry wood in town).

nice big patio door with awesome views of the lake and lots of wildlife..loved being able to use the woodburning stove. firewood was provided for the firepit. they have just about everything you need here if you forget something and the house was well stocked with supplies
