Enjoy your vacation in our vacation home just outside the city of Hamburg. This beautiful half-timbered house was built in 2007 and renovated in 2021 into a modern vacation home with approximately 68 m² of living space.

The first floor features a bright, open living area and a bathroom with cream-colored tiles and underfloor heating throughout the entire level. An integrated kitchenette in the dining area features a two-chamber air fryer, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a small stovetop, a dishwasher, and a sink. Amenities on the first floor include a dining table set for 4 people, a comfortable sofa set, and a TV. On cool days, a wood-burning stove creates a cozy atmosphere and provides pleasant warmth.
The beautiful bathroom features a harmonious palette of warm tones. It includes a wheelchair-accessible shower with a built-in shelf for shampoo. A bathroom cabinet keeps your travel essentials organized.
The attic features a large bedroom with a double bed, a sleeper sofa (1.38 m x 1.90 m), a wardrobe, a dresser, and an armchair. This beautiful room is filled with light and has space for a travel crib.
In the shade of beautiful oak trees, you can spend relaxing hours on the terrace in front of the house. A grill and a seating area with cushions are available for your use.
A washing machine and a clothes drying rack are located in an outbuilding.

You’ll stay in a quiet, idyllic, and rural setting, just about a 5-minute drive from downtown Buchholz. The beautiful heathland town of Jesteburg is also about an 8-minute drive away.
Buchholz in der Nordheide is located about 35 km south of Hamburg. The enchanting heathland landscape, with its forests, streams, and meadow valleys, offers numerous hiking and biking trails as well as a variety of recreational activities such as tennis, bowling, golf, swimming, gyms, a movie theater, and a large event center featuring a rotating schedule of theater performances, concerts, readings, cabaret, and comedy.
All the shops you need for daily necessities, restaurants, and cafés, as well as a hospital, doctors, and pharmacies, can be found right in town.
This small town has excellent transportation links. Its proximity to the A 1 and A 7 highways as well as the B 75 road provides quick access to Hamburg or Bremen. You can reach the city of Hamburg in about 25 minutes, either by car or by train directly from the Buchholz train station.
