This rental was perfect for our family of 4 adults, 2 children and 1 little dog. The home is spacious, very clean, and every detail was thought of to make our stay perfect. All we really needed to bring was food. We loved opening a window and hearing the river. It's located about half way between Cody and Yellowstone, very convenient to the park. There are neighbors nearby but you don't notice them. It's quiet and rural with deer walking through the yard different times of day. We would stay here again and hope to come back next year! We would give more than 5* if we could. This place is fantastic!

Exceptional property with lots of space for large groups. It was not our first choice--our original reservation was cancelled at the last minute, so we were lucky to get the place. It did not disappoint. We had anticipated being closer to Yellowstone (in Gardiner) for our trip, but we actually found Cody and the Shoshone National Forest (especially the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway) to be equally worthwhile, and the drive into Yellowstone through the East entrance is interesting enough that a little repetition was not a problem. We actually saw three different bears along the route!On our initial arrival to the house, we found everything we needed for a great stay. There was even coffee--a nice and appreciated bonus. The most unique feature was the game room, and we particularly enjoyed the ping-pong table, although we did not get to use it as much as we would have liked. The stargazing was incredible, and the neighborhood was extremely quiet other than the gentle sounds of the river, which we very much enjoyed through our open windows at night.If you have a large party and are looking for a quiet place to be where you can spread out, I don't think you will be disappointed.However please note the following: There is no useable grill.Some in our party reported that their initial bedding was too heavy, but they worked it out.Not all bedrooms have fans.You need to plan ahead as there are very few dining options nearby.
