Summary:
Conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown Freeport, 20 minutes from Portland Jetport, and 20 minutes from downtown Portland. This newly renovated, charming, and sunny 200 year old home is perfect for your Maine getaway. It is a fantastic home-base for exploring Southern and Midcoastal Maine while enjoying close proximity to shopping in Freeport and Portland's award-winning restaurants and attractions as well as beautiful beaches, islands, museums, lighthouses, and much more.
The Space:
This home was built in the 1850s and has been fully updated yet still features original beams and other details to preserve its character. The first floor is spacious and comfortable with a large dining room, living room, bedroom, full bathroom, and newly renovated kitchen. The upstairs includes a full bathroom, bedroom with twin beds, reading nook, and master bedroom.
Guest Access:
The entire house is available for guest use.
The Neighborhood:
South Freeport is the perfect village for a quiet Maine getaway with access to many coastal landmarks, beaches, and Portland. Freeport is known for its shopping, specifically at the outlets and L.L. Bean campus headquarters, as well as many outdoor adventures. Nearby Wolfe's Neck Farm is a great area to explore. Enjoy kayaking, having lunch at the cafe, and visiting the animals in the barn. There's also Winslow Beach Park just a few minutes from the house that offers a (usually) secluded beach experience and walking trails along the coastline with stunning scenic views. It is the perfect picnic spot! Maine Beer Company is a favorite local restaurant and brewery less than 5 minutes away not to mention the plethora of lobster shacks. These are just a few of the many gems in the area!

This home is professionally maintained with love and care. We host the way we would want to be hosted during our travels. It brings us joy to create serene, beautiful spaces for others to come and explore Vacationland. This home is close to a busy road, and there can be street noise. We provide sound machines.
