We’ve prepared the cabin with care to ensure your stay is peaceful, comfortable, and memorable.

Whispering Forest Retreat is a meticulously renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin in the heart of Sunshine Valley, BC. Just under 2 hours from Vancouver and a short drive to Manning Park, our family cabin was designed with togetherness in mind - a place to gather with loved ones, reconnect with nature, and create lasting memories in every season.

From the moment you walk in, you’ll be greeted by a warm, open-concept living space with vaulted ceilings, large windows framing the forest, and a cozy wood stove that sets the perfect mountain atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen and inviting dining area flow seamlessly into the living room, making it easy to share meals, play board games, or simply curl up with a blanket and a good book.

Three comfy bedrooms offer restful retreats after a day outdoors providing comfortable sleeping arrangements for both adults and children. Two full bathrooms - one with a large soaker tub - ensures everyone has space to refresh.

The space comfortably accommodates two families, with sleeping arrangements best suited for up to 4 adults (including couples) and as many as 5 children.

While the home has enough beds for a larger group, it’s not ideal for six separate adults — we want to make sure everyone is comfortable during their stay. Families will appreciate the open living area, fully equipped kitchen, and the peaceful forest setting that makes this a perfect spot for reconnecting and relaxing

Step outside to breathe in the crisp alpine air from the large deck or soak under the stars in your private hot tub. In every direction, you’ll find adventure — from nearby hiking and biking trails to lakes, ski slopes, and the charming community of Hope. On quieter days, explore the Sumallo River Walk just steps from the door, or enjoy the community centre’s seasonal pool, playground, and games room.

Living Room 1
Kick up your feet on the large velvet couch and take your pick of relaxing activities - settling into a great movie using our Fire Stick (and your login) or keep the tv off and enjoy the crackling of a fire in the new woodstove.

Living Room 2
We made this area with adults in mind. Unwind with a glass of wine on the leather couch or chairs while the kids watch a movie nearby and enjoy the beautiful views of the forest.

Kitchen
The kitchen comes fully equipped with modern appliances, ready for anything from a quick snack or hearty breakfast to a full gourmet dinner. Generous counter space makes meal prep a breeze, and a kitchen table for four sits just steps away for easy, relaxed dining.

Dining Room
With seating for up to 10, enjoy a meal with all your guests in one place or maybe a board game! We keep all the games (and there are many) in the sideboard in this room.

Main Floor Bedroom
This lovely bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed, large closet (with dresser inside) and premium linens. The main floor washroom is directly across the hall from this room for easy access from this room.

Main Floor Bathroom
This bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and essential toiletries for your stay. It features a beautifully appointed shower (the tub is upstairs).

Laundry Room
Located just off the main entry to the cabin you’ll find a place to put your jackets and shoes. We’ve put hooks up so you’ve got space to hang up your towels after a soak in the hot tub and hangers above the sink where your bathing suits can dry. Want to do laundry? No problem! There’s a washer and dryer in this room as well.

Primary Bedroom
This large bedroom is on the second level and boasts a comfortable king sized bed, reading corner and large desk (just in case you need to check a few emails!). This room also has a large closet (with dresser inside) and premium linens.

Bunkie Room
Across the hall from the primary bedroom you’ll find the bunkie room! We designed this room with kids in mind with a set of bunk beds, a queen bed and a single bed to make room for two families to enjoy our cabin together. Don’t have kids? No problem! You’ll enjoy a large bedroom and have your pick of beds. You’ll find books and toys in the large closet.

Upper Bathroom
This large bathroom features a big soaker tub with jets which is perfect after a long day. The skylight frames the old growth cedars around the home. This bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and essential toiletries for your stay. Note that there is no shower in this bathroom.

Outdoor Spaces
While the cabin is beautiful inside, the outdoors is what drew up to this part of BC. Enjoy a soak in the private hot tub in the backyard under the covered structure that will keep the snow and rain off you in the winter time. There is a table for four on the deck.
