The interior of this rental was very clean, well-kept, and comfortable upon arrival. However, there was a noticeable, lingering smell of weed inside the house throughout our stay, which was a major drawback to an otherwise clean space. On a positive note, the host was very accommodating with our schedule, which we appreciated since we needed to reschedule a few times prior to arrival.Potential renters should also be aware before booking that this individual unit is located inside the Crest at Midtown Apartments complex. While the inside of the apartment itself is nice, the broader building and surrounding location come with several distinct downsides. The property struggles with notable safety and security issues, particularly due to broken or compromised security gates in the parking garage and around the perimeter. The common areas, hallways, and grounds are also poorly maintained by the building management, leading to frequent issues with trash and overall cleanliness outside the unit. Furthermore, because of its dense urban location, guests should expect heavy traffic noise and a hectic environment.If you are looking strictly for a clean space with an accommodating host right next to downtown amenities like the neighboring Publix, the interior of this unit holds up well. However, if building security, fresh air, and a well-maintained property environment are important to your stay, you may want to look at other options in the area.
