Charming—nestled in the woods—with a view of the Elbe. The guesthouse and Villa Sonnenburg form a charming and luxurious ensemble in the heart of the forest, yet right in the thick of it all.
Enjoy the breathtaking view of the city and the Elbe—especially enchanting in the evening, when the string of lights from the houses on the opposite bank illuminates the river and the small, lit-up ferries cross the Elbe.
The Villa Sonnenburg guesthouse exudes a unique charm. Furnished with antiques and modern classics, it offers comfort and creates a truly relaxing atmosphere. The spacious terrace beneath the centuries-old beech tree lets you quickly forget the stresses of everyday life.
The guesthouse is comfortable for 2 people, but 3 people can also stay here comfortably.
Dogs are allowed upon request for a fee. Villa Sonnenburg and the guesthouse are located above the town of Bad Schandau in the Rathmannsdorf district. Nestled on an approximately 10,000-square-meter wooded property, their elevated location offers a unique view of Bad Schandau and the Elbe River. The large wooden terrace is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scent of the forest.
