Why We Host: We opened The Lodge at Duck Creek Village in the Fall of 2014 with a simple mission: to share the magic of Southern Utah’s peaceful mountain meadow community with travelers from around the world. Tucked inside the breathtaking Dixie National Forest, Duck Creek Village is an absolute paradise for outdoor enthusiasts.

Whether you are here to explore the world-famous network of over 500 miles of ATV, snowmobiling, hiking, and biking trails, or you simply want to unwind and watch the wildlife in the meadow, we are dedicated to making your mountain getaway unforgettable.

We chose Duck Creek Village because it is the ultimate hidden gem of Southern Utah. Surrounded by the Dixie National Forest, this peaceful mountain meadow community is an adventurer's paradise, offering over 500 miles of ATV, hiking, and biking trails, alongside local horseback riding, snowmobiling, and bike rentals.

We fell in love with its central location, which places you minutes from top-tier fishing spots (Aspen Mirror, Navajo, and Panguitch Lakes) and makes it the perfect launchpad for the region's greatest natural wonders. From here, Cedar Breaks (16 mi), Brian Head (23 mi), Zion (42 mi), Bryce Canyon (42 mi), and Grand Staircase-Escalante (18 mi) are all an easy drive, with the Grand Canyon and Capitol Reef close enough for unforgettable day trips.
