Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Bavarian Forest, perched high above the village of Sankt Englmar at an elevation of 900 meters, we welcome you to our renovated 33-square-meter apartment, which features a covered balcony offering stunning views of the Danube Valley and, on clear days, all the way to the Alps. The apartment features a combined living and sleeping area, with a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The practical fold-out bed frees up plenty of space in the apartment during the day. Extensive renovations have been completed; all mattresses and kitchen appliances are new. A swivel-mounted flat-screen satellite TV is available. The bathroom features a toilet and a shower. Towels, bed linens, and Wi-Fi are included in the rental price. The beautiful surroundings and numerous recreational activities ensure that you’ll quickly feel at home in your apartment and the surrounding area. The apartment is located in a vacation resort in Sankt Englmar. The indoor pool with a children’s pool and the outdoor pool with a slide (in summer), 3 saunas, a fitness center, an outdoor playground, mini-golf, and table tennis are free; good, free Wi-Fi is available. Family World (for a small additional fee), featuring a large indoor playground with a climbing maze, slides, a trampoline, an electric go-kart track, and a soccer hall, offers year-round play opportunities for children. Numerous hiking trails, ski slopes, and cross-country trails (with ski and cross-country rental), as well as a climbing forest with a high ropes course within walking distance, provide the ideal starting point for outdoor activities. Just a few minutes’ drive away is the scenic Tree Top Trail with the “Haus am Kopf,” as well as two amusement parks (Egidibuckel and Edelwies) featuring toboggan runs, roller coasters, and much more. In Viechtach, about 10 km away, you can explore the wild river landscape of the Schwarzer Regen—known as “Bavarian Canada”—by canoe, kayak, or on foot. The visitor’s tax of 2.30 EUR per person (ages 16 and up) per night and 1.40 EUR per child (ages 6–15) per night will be charged on site.A washing machine is available for use in the house for a fee.
