The bungalow is unique in its design, location, and amenities. This very modern small apartment, with approximately 40 m² of living space, consists of a spacious living room and bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom.
The entrance area has been redesigned to be new, very modern, and stylish, featuring a windbreak, a smoking area, and a barbecue pavilion.
Additional amenities include a washing machine, two different coffee machines and grills, a portable air conditioner for the summer, and a fire pit.
Your own 35-square-meter terrace with an incredible view has no fence (just a stone step) separating it from the Lech landscape conservation area.
In front of your home lies one hectare of cattle-free meadow used for farming. If snow conditions permit, you can walk directly from the terrace onto the Weidach cross-country ski trail and enjoy your punch on your own terrace.
We’d personally like to recommend an exceptional DaySpa facility in Schwangau: the König Ludwig Resort. All details are described in the image (found in the photo gallery).
Facility:
Here you’ll find a modern, Alpine-style vacation home with three vacation apartments in different locations. Our medium-sized vacation home is situated in an absolutely prime location, right on the “Lechauen Landscape Conservation Belt.” From every apartment, enjoy unobstructed views of the Füssen mountains, the direct access to the Lechuferweg trail along Lake Forggensee, and—seasonally—the Weidach cross-country ski trail right by the house. You can reach Füssen’s pedestrian zone and our historic old town in just a few minutes on foot.
The boat harbor, the pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the Lech River, and countless hiking opportunities starting right from the house round out its prime location. It’s a 1.5-km walk along the Lech River and Lake Forggensee to the Musikal Festival Hall.
The three vacation apartments—the ground-floor bungalow, the “Herzstück” on the first floor, and the attic chalet—are ideally suited for two people. You’re more than welcome to spend your vacation here with your four-legged friend. There are plenty of places to walk your dog and cattle-free meadows right next to your vacation rental.
All apartments are equipped with free Wi-Fi, a parking space, and covered bicycle storage.
If you’re looking for a vacation rental for a larger group, we recommend our partner property “Mensels” City 1-3. This property is also in a prime location, just 5 minutes from our pedestrian zone.
Large balconies, a private underground parking space, and an elevator leading directly to the vacation apartments round out the amenities there. Dogs are also welcome here.
Sustainability:
We, too, cannot ignore the issue of energy. Our vacation home is heated with gas. In the private living areas, 70% of the heating comes from locally sourced wood. The house is very well insulated, and the heating system has been updated, retrofitted, and modernized. For example, we utilize the return water temperature from the system. We’ve been generating solar power (photovoltaics) on our roofs for 20 years now, which we feed into the grid.
We plan to switch to a self-sufficient system (heat pump, solar, and our own solar power) within the next year. This means we’re already prepared for the future.
