You'll be within easy walking distance of downtown Fredericksburg at this lovely studio bungalow, a warm and welcoming retreat in the heart of Texas wine country. Whether you choose to spend your days strolling around town or visiting vineyards along Highway 290, you'll come home to a charming covered porch and a spacious dining table where you can play cards and pop open a brand new bottle.

What's nearby:
This studio is located one block off Main Street in Fredericksburg, a town known for its historic charm and numerous wineries and tasting rooms. Hop on a local shuttle to take a wine-tasting tour, or take a short walk to check out the shops and restaurants all along Main Street in the heart of downtown. You'll also be well-placed to enjoy Fredericksburg Trade Days on the third Saturday of the month, featuring live music, wonderful food, and plentiful opportunities to shop.

Great Get-Away Home for Family of 4

We found this home to be all we needed fir or short stay in Fredericksburg this Spring Break. Cute house with all we really needed. Cute yard area was perfect for our small pup. Just CUTE! The kids enjoyed the deep, over-sized tub during bath time. We would gladly stay here again!

Perfect Fredericksburg Getaway

My kids and I had a wonderful time. The property was adorable and very clean. The only downside was that we didn't have a full kitchen, so we couldn't cook. Otherwise, it was pretty perfect.

Bring your toilet paper

Lots of flies and bug carcasses. We did find a flyswatter eventually but dead bugs in windows and bathroom. Furniture worn down, curtains fall down when you try to open them for light, and no furniture on porch. Slow/no response about complaints of bugs and told that toilet paper is not provided. Sheets are clean.

Roaches, uncomfortable mattress, inadequate hot water

For all the added fees coming up to $280 for one night I would expect the place to be immaculate. It looks clean and dust free but we found 3 dead roaches throughout the night and one live one. I know it’s Texas but it makes me feel that they do not have pest control. Also they should either get a decent water heater or get a smaller tub. Vacasa also had no way to call anyone directly one any of their signage, there isn’t a live person responding to texts, their AI seems off, and I’m NOT downloading another app to deal. Booked through VRBO so it’s super confusing to have to have two stupid apps. I was somewhat vetting Vacasa as a potential property manager but I’ll pass.

We arrived to cobwebs all over the rafters, mismatched window coverings which was weird, our stay was for 6 nights…. They left us 2 towels, a coffee machine with no coffee, dirty comforters and pillow cases. Yard maintenance was terrible overgrown bushes that got stuck on you as you walked by, wood falling apart “yard art” out front. Great location but I will never stay here again.

Perfect little cottage!

This cottage is in a great spot, in walking distance of so many shops, restaurants, and small wineries. We brought our dogs with us and this place has the perfect yard for them. Can’t wait to come back!

Clean and exactly as described! Perfect for our stay!

We had a great stay- no complaints at all! Clean, cute little place. House was on a quiet street- reasonably walkable to the Main Street shops and restaurants for adults but with small kiddos we drove to park closer to Main Street and all the Christmas activities since we were sans stroller. The bed is comfortable and I always appreciate that in a VRBO! We would book this place again.

Wish they would put decent chairs on the porch. What is out there is about to fall through. We like sitting outside and enjoying the morning with coffee or evening with wine. It was very uncomfortable
