A quiet residence in the country, Headquarters Hideaway is a Hill Country vacation rental set on seven-plus acres. (In the history of Texas ranches, “headquarters” signifies the center of operations.) Enjoy a fabulous location in relation to Fredericksburg - private enough to feel worlds away, yet under five minutes from town and 45 minutes to San Antonio. After fun-filled days, return home for a rejuvenating soak in your private hot tub.

Inside, you'll find a modern and airy interior with brand-new beds, fixtures, and amenities. You'll love the high beam ceilings and designer decor. Relax and restore in one of three cozy bedrooms and whip up delicious dishes in the sparkling full kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and lots of handy extras. Have happy hours on the patio, or serve appetizers in one of two living areas. A private washer/dryer adds convenience for longer stays.

Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. The house was great. Cleanliness was lacking as there was a couple dead scorpions and a gecko in the shower. Additionally there was some hair on the bed. However the biggest negative for our stay was 50% of our guests were diagnosed (by dermatologists) with Pseudomonas folliculitis (aka Hot Tub Folloculitis).

Fredericksburg Trip

House was amazing clean and cozy. Only issue we had was WIFI wasn't working and cell service was not real great out there. But was able to make contact with the property management and we worked on the issue but unfortunately was not able to get the issue fixed. But everything else was perfect. Great location, nice and secluded and really close to Fredericksburg town center which was a HUGE plus! Definitely would stay there again!!

Quality Stay

Cozy and comfortable stay. Close enough to town to not be far. Yet, far enough away to have the complete country feel. Our group would definitely choose this location again in the future. Beds were on the firmer side, which aided in me sleeping quite well. The hot tub did not retain its heat after preheating. It continuously dropped in temperature. Easy check in and out. Overall great experience. It is the country, so be sure to give your shoes a shake in case of scorpions.

Spacious country home

new home with hard wood floors & vaulted ceilings made this a comfortable relaxing place to stay A TV in each bedroom and spacious master bedroom and bath. new kitchen appliances There was a gas grill and hot tub available for guests. We loved sitting in the backyard watching the stars at night with no street lights to obscure our view. the only downside was you could hear the traffic of 4 lane highway when in the master bedroom. we 4 sisters were impressed with the vacation home and had a wonderful time staying there

Cute home minor issues

Over all my guess and I loved the home and how spacious it was, considering we had a friend join us in a wheelchair. The only complaint was the smell of the water, it had a bad egg smell and lingered throughout the house when someone took a shower or wash dishes there was a few dirty cups in the cabinets
