The Sonnenhof am Meer vacation home is a renovated former farmhouse located directly on the North Sea. The approximately 2 HA property faces south.

The house’s former barn door leads into the spacious entryway. Here you’ll find a coat rack for your jackets and a place to set down your shoes and luggage. From the entryway, you enter the 110 m² high-end vacation apartment, located on the first floor. It is the only vacation apartment in the house.

The hallway leads to the light-filled living/dining area and its high-end white kitchen with an open counter. At approximately 45 square meters, this area is particularly spacious. Through the windows, you can observe nature and the local wildlife. A dining table and a comfortable corner sofa invite you to socialize, relax, and read. A flat-screen TV, a hi-fi system, and free Wi-Fi are, of course, included.

Each of the 3 bedrooms is equipped with an exclusive double box-spring bed. In two bedrooms, the beds measure 1.80 m x 2.00 m; in one bedroom, they measure 1.60 m x 2.00 m. The windows can be darkened with roller shades, and fly screens provide protection.

Bed linens and towels are provided. The beds are made up. Everything is included in the price.

The spacious, modern bathroom features two sinks, a shower, a bathtub, and a radiator with a towel warmer.

A floor plan of the apartment can be found at the end of the photo gallery.

From the living room, you can access the south-facing wooden terrace. The table, chairs, and bench are made of teak, and a Weber gas grill is available. From the terrace, you have access to the large garden, which features a beach chair and the meadows belonging to the property. The garden has old plum and apricot trees. Surrounding the property are expansive fields that are cultivated according to crop rotation.

On the other side of the house, there is a spacious parking area and a garage where bicycles can be stored. From here, you can see all the way to the North Sea dike, about 400 meters away.

Sankt-Peter-Ording, with its expansive beach, is just a few kilometers away. Westerhever, with its lighthouse, is the neighboring town. At the eastern end of the Norderheverkoog lies the popular North Sea swimming spot Evershopsiel, along with a restaurant.

Whether on foot, by bike, or by car—the house’s location is ideal for enjoying the best of the peninsula. Extensive bike and hiking trails lead directly through the marsh landscape, past sheep, dikes, and old Haubarg houses—the real North Frisia, just as you’d dream it to be.

A bread roll delivery service is available upon request.
