Malzow is a small, idyllically situated former farming village in the Stepenitz and Maurine lowlands, not far from Lake Dassow and the Baltic Sea beaches of Lübeck Bay, at the entrance to the Klützer Winkel. Our authentic Mecklenburg hall house from 1837, the “Malzower Reethuus,” offers 4 stylish, cozy vacation apartments. The original half-timbered construction is visible throughout and gives the house its particularly charming character. The “Alkoven” apartment is a one-room unit for up to 2 people and is located on the first floor with a view of the garden. The apartment is tastefully and invitingly furnished. Of course, the Alkoven also comes with its own garden furniture, which you can set up in the garden wherever you like best. The well-established garden is available to our guests for relaxing, playing, and barbecuing. Forget about everyday life, enjoy nature, and recharge—at the Malzower Reethuus, you’ll find peace and quiet. Bike rides and hikes through the magnificent landscapes of northwestern Mecklenburg, trips to the Baltic Sea for swimming, city breaks to Lübeck, Wismar, Schwerin, or even Hamburg, or a concert at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival at Bothmer Castle near Klütz—all of this is possible from here. Relaxation is what you make of it—we look forward to welcoming you!
Be sure to check out the other apartments at the Malzower Reethuus:
