The "John Silver" vacation rental is located on Kampstraße, right next to the Protestant Island Church. This church was built over 500 years ago and served as a refuge for the islanders against storm surges and attacks by pirates. The street where the vacation rental is located takes its name from the fields that used to be there—the Middle Low German word “Kamp” means “field.” The apartment is on the first floor of a new building completed in the spring of 2016 and can accommodate up to 3 people. The building has an elevator. The pedestrian zone is just a few minutes’ walk away. The beach is also within easy walking distance (approx. 450 m).
The apartment’s interior design emphasizes light and natural colors. Two electric fold-out wall beds offer the same sleeping comfort as conventional beds and can be stowed away during the day to save space. For a third person, the pull-out sofa in the living room provides a sleeping area measuring 1.30 x 2.13 m. A highlight of the “John Silver” apartment are its two balconies: one facing southwest and one facing northeast (with a view of the churchyard). Dogs are not permitted in this accommodation.
