The chalet was lovingly renovated from the ground up in 2022 using high-quality natural materials and exclusively furnished.

The “Winklmoos” apartment in Chalet Viol is approximately 50 m², located on the first floor, and features a small terrace with a wonderful south/west-facing view. The apartment features a cozy bedroom with a box-spring bed, reclaimed wood paneling, a TV, and a 1.50-meter-wide wardrobe, as well as the option to use a sofa bed in the living room. The apartment has a beautiful bathroom with a rain shower, a small open kitchenette with a portable oven that can be used as needed, a cozy sitting area with a table, and a sofa area with a TV. There is a private parking space in front of the house.
In total, Chalet Viol has 2 electric vehicle charging stations that guests can use for a separate fee, as well as a separate, lockable garden shed with e-bike charging stations. Each of our 3 apartments also has its own basement storage area for additional equipment or luggage that isn’t needed during your stay.

One key factor is its elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderated and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valley cuts on weather patterns. In the summer, Reit im Winkl is ideal for long hikes and walks. But mountain bikers, golfers, and tennis players will also find plenty to enjoy. We renovated Chalet Viol with great attention to detail in 2022/2023 and rebuilt it using high-quality natural materials. Sustainability is very important to us, which is why we heat the chalet with natural heat and provide our guests with two electric car charging stations, as well as charging options for e-bikes in a lockable garden shed. The entire house is equipped with a fresh-air system, ensuring that the air in the rooms is always fresh and comfortably tempered. We hope you enjoy your stay with us.
